Carly now looks like Norma Bates. Sonny needs to meet Mother!

I can't believe that she found out in the dumbest possible way

Same here. Also, I can not believe Carly and Bobbie already confronted Nelle and Sonny. WTH! I wanted long, drawn out torture and payback, not tears and confrontations. These people are so irritating. I'm still hoping Nelle has more up her sleeve... and I'm not even a Nelle fan.

See, the thing is, this was done in quite possibly the worst possible way, and it was done this way to prop up Sonny and Carly, all these months of buildup led to nothing, and the story ended in an anticlimax because the writers don't have the guts to actually give anyone any kind of advantage over Sonny. The way this done is literally the EXACT OPPOSITE of drama. I'll bet dollars to donuts that tomorrow, even Michael will turn against Nelle. The conflict is so lopsided that it is utterly ridiculous. Sonny and Carly have a longer winning streak than the Harlem Globetrotters.

It's the worst. Let me guess. Nelle will do something mildly heroic, redeem herself in Michael's eyes, and he'll "Ah, shucks," everyone into giving her another chance. Pass.

The sad part is that this story was clearly based on Carly's introductory story, but Carly's introduction was an example of a story done right, Bobbie didn't find out the truth about what Carly was doing due to a deus ex machina, she found out because Stefan manipulated Bobbie into finding Carly in bed with Tony, and she didn't find out the truth about who Carly was through a deus ex machina, rather after 2 1/2 years, Carly confessed. It was handled beautifully. And it was done that way because the writers were willing to make Bobbie and Tony experience real suffering, but that is something we simply cannot have when the Great and Powerful Sonny is involved.

This SL went on long enough, I am glad that Carly found out about what Nelle was doing. However, we still don't know Nelle's motive for doing what she did. But I agree, after the slow build-up, the way the truth came out via catty Felicia and Bobbie and some co-worker of Nelle's that the writers pulled out of their butts, the reveal was anti-climactic and dumb. I hope at least they give Nelle a good reason for wanting to exact revenge on Sonny and Carly. After watching Nelle's eyes constantly tearing up for five months, I want a good explanation.

I'd like it to be a really dumb reason, like Carly outbidding Nell on Ebay for a pair of crocs.

It wasn't a slow buildup. In the world of soaps, it was an incredibly rapidly paced story, the story has gone at warp 10 since day one. In the 80's, it would have taken at least a year before we even learned that Nelle was even up to anything, and it would have taken 2 years for Carly to find out what she was up to.

This is why soaps are dying. People have no patience and when the stories are bad they have even less.

In the 80's

The writers did a MAJOR speed-up!

But first I want to address, how DUMB is it that Nelle's friend in Florida/Atlanta is impressed that Nelle is being named Person of the Month by some obscure magazine in damn Buffalo NY! She is so impressed by this that she reveals her friend Nelle's most intimate secrets!

In the 80's was all I kept thinking about, specifically Laurelton. In the Laurelton style of writing Felicia would have been SHOWN traveling on the plane to Laurelton in a race against time. The same snowstorm that trapped Nelle and Michael in the cabin would have detained Felicia's flight. Felicia would have had scenes with Nelle's friend--and Nelle's friend would have been reminiscent of Carly's friend Lorraine. But no, all we got was a lame recap from Bobbie. And all I kept thinking was, wasn't Felicia the SECRETARY in Anna and Sean's PI firm, I don't recall she was even a PI!!!!

The only thing I'm happy about is that Nelle got to the mail before Bobbie or Carly. Nelle may be able to keep hidden her past and Michael won't find out about her elaborate revenge plan for the time being. I'd still like Michael and Nelle to hook up lol

How long has Nelle been on GH--5 or 6 months? Whether or not that amount of time is considered a slow buildup or a fast-paced buildup for the revelation to Carly to have been made, I feel let down by how the revelation came about. For me, the Nelle SL has been one of the more interesting ones, and deserved a much better reveal. Hell, it would have been better if Carly had eavesdropped and overheard Sonny confronting Nelle, but didn't say anything, and then planned some beautiful revenge on them. I have patience for a slow reveal, and to me six months is slow enough, but I don't have patience for a really crappy reveal.

I agree, and the ironic thing about it is that viewers on daytime keep demanding faster and faster pacing, even while shows in prime time keep getting slower and slower paced. For most shows in prime time, they do season long story arcs, where a single story, that would have been resolved in one episode back in the 80's is slowly developed over the course of 22 episodes. The kind of long term serialized story telling that used to be characteristic of daytime now exists in prime time, while actual fans of daytime are complained about stories being 'dragged out.' It makes no sense to me.

Thank you!!!!! and the Carson shippers will exhale with relief and gush about how their couple overcomes everything, but what do they expect when everything is written in S&C's favor??

Still I was happy Carly didn't find out via Nelle's package. Then it would have been all on Nelle. At least Carly knows Nelle did delete the audio file and trash the flash drive. It made Sonny look like an idiot accusing Nelle of what she was planning to do. What does it matter what Nelle was going to do, she ultimately deleted and trashed her means to blackmail Sonny! The truth came out about Sonny because he was acting guilty around Nelle and Bobbie noticed it. That's on him not Nelle.
