Was anyone else grossed out by the thought of two adults sharing bath water? Michael and Nelle aren't even a couple , and Michael getting into Nelle's dirty bath water is just eewww. Also, they don't have a shower with running water or a regular bathroom with a tub where they could run separate baths? I can't imagine that Sonny's cabin wouldn't have modern plumbing. If there was an explanation for why they were sharing an old, portable tub, I completely missed it.

You think that was bad...how about when Sabrina was murdered and Michael was kissing and hugging and holding her corpse. I literally vomited from that scene. All we needed to gross us out more was for him to have sex with that corpse. Truly disgusting!!!!!!!!! By comparison, the bath water was nothing.

Not only that but the last thing I'm going to think of when stranded in a snowstorm is taking a bath! There is no way that cabin did not have bathrooms with a tub in it. With that said, it would also have a running shower hooked up. I assume the pipes weren't frozen if Michael could get water for the tub.

The whole scene was poorly orchestrated just the get Michael half naked onscreen. kissing_smiling_eyes

Reminded me of a line from a Stone Temple Pilots song about drinking the bath water that his lover has left.

Wow I'd rather not. There's romantic and there's downright disgusting. Though I suppose the line can be blurred.

It made me sick, too. I didn't understand the entire need for that scene, other than as a vehicle to get them naked.

There was no electricity thus no hot water. It would have done them no good to take an ice cold shower. They weren't dirty, they were trying to warm up from near hypothermia after falling into a frozen pond while fetching fire wood. The reason for the copper tub was that it retains heat. Michael was heating water in the fireplace.

I don't think it's any more gross than people sharing a tub at the same time which is a staple of romantic movies. True they're not a couple, but they're clearly destined to become one. It's not as if it was Ned and Liz sharing one.

Did they actually say that they fell into a frozen pond because they didn't look wet at all. And I can't claim I was paying full attention.

It wasn't shown, a big splash was heard when they made the mad dash to where the firewood was stored. Honestly I missed it and only played the scene again because someone here asked how Michael heated the bath water lol

I hope Michael and Nelle hook up, forgot if the preview indicated if the snowstorm is letting up or not

How exactly did they fall into a frozen pond? And why didn't they look wet? The thought of Michael getting into a tub of Nelle's dirty bath water is gross to me. They weren't in it together,. and it wasn't even a soapy or bubble bath. You want to avoid hypothermia, take off your wet clothes, put a blanket on yourself and sit in front of a fireplace. No more water needed.

Honestly, I was too distracted by the fact that they moved the tub into the living room to consider how I felt about them sharing bath water.

Lol did they actually move it so it would be right next to the fireplace where they were boiling the water? A copper tub would weigh a lot I would think. But yeah a tub would be in the bathroom lol

Haha Amy. I was going to mention that too. Scrawny Michael would never be able to lift that tub. And I can only guess it was in an upstairs bathroom (Master likely) so I hope he had fun on the stairs. I wonder how Nelle is going to cure his hernia now.

They looked wet when she was getting into the tub. Mikey's hair was wet.

No Doubt - Bathwater.

Are you sure that wasn't just Michael's hair gel making his hair look wet? It looks like he's been using Sonny's hair products, lol. So on their way to get fire wood they happen to fall into a frozen pond? I can't even envision how that would happen.
