The life of Philippe Dayan five years after the Bataclan attacks, after the first confinement in 2020. The psychoanalyst puts his therapeutic processes to the test with four new patients: Ines, a solitary lawyer with a tidy life, Robin, young overweight teenager victim of school bullying, Lydia, a student who came to share dark news about her state of health and Alain, a business manager in media turmoil... Divorced, sued by the family of one of his former patients, Dr. Dayan turns to Claire, a high-profile analyst and essayist whose support he hopes for the ongoing trial.

Paris, printemps 2020, au lendemain du confinement, le Dr Philippe Dayan accueille quatre nouveaux patients : Inès, une avocate quadragénaire et solitaire, Robin, un adolescent en surpoids victime de harcèlement scolaire, Lydia, une étudiante venue partager un sombre secret concernant sa santé et Alain, un chef d’entreprise pris dans une tourmente médiatique. La saison développe aussi le quotidien compliqué du psychanalyste, le docteur Dayan, qui est divorcé et attaqué en justice par la famille de l’un de ses anciens patients. Il se tourne vers Claire, une analyste et essayiste de renom, et sollicite son soutien pour son procès.

Die zweite Staffel spielt erneut in Paris im Frühsommer 2020 und setzt wenige Monate nach den Beginn der Corona-Pandemie ein. Dr. Philippe Dayan trifft dabei in seiner Praxis, in einem renovierungsbedürftigen Einfamilienhaus auf vier Patienten: Montags trifft Dr. Dayan Ines, eine Anwältin, dienstags Robin, den Sohn von Léonora und Damien aus der ersten Staffel, mittwochs Lydia, eine Architekturstudentin und donnerstags Alain, einen Unternehmer. Am Freitag schließlich begibt sich der Psychoanalytiker in Supervision bei einer Kollegin namens Claire.
