Her brother Tomoya died when her persona was activated, leading to hatred from her mother. Megumi and her mom had a hard time mending their family ties until an accident with a trailer truck had Megumi activate her persona to save her mother from drowning, resulting in their reconnection of their family bonds and ending her mom's hatred over Megumi.

八尾町にあるめぐみの実家で、洵に応急手当を施し夜明けを待つ慎たち。自分だけが臨んだつもりだった危険な場所に近づき、負傷してしまった洵を前にして、慎は諒が自分たちを遠ざけようとした気持ちを実感する。同じ屋根の下で、茅野めぐみは自身の10年前と向き合っていた。めぐみが人知れず己を責め続け、己のペルソナに疑念を抱き続けてきたわけも、あの日起きた同時多発無気力症による事故の惨禍の中にあったのだった。
