Had to at how Sheldon had ignored Missy and MeeMaw’s 2-cents worth about the difference in the weather between his final two choices. (As if a genius such as himself would let something as trifling as weather dictate his future!) Who knows maybe that’s when he developed his TBBT-famous-look of “hearty derision”? Anyway, upon arrival at his less climate-friendly choice he soon found out that while you can ignore your relatives, the same may not hold true for Mother Nature!

to the writers for giving us that moment near the end. Must admit it had me there for a few....

Since Sheldon doesn't spend much time outdoors seems to me that the weather outside shouldn't have made too much difference. In fact a plethora of snow seems like it would encourage staying indoors, his preference. Oh well, if he hadn't gone to Caltech there would have been no Big Bang Theory!

Don't know how large MIT is, but take it from a former student at a northern US college: Getting from class-to-class in different buildings (many of them a lot more than a cakewalk apart) through ice and snow (and snowing) ain’t for the faint-hearted. Not to mention continuously putting-on-and-taking-off everything you own, trying to keep warm, during your sprints.
Pretty sure I must have had two classes in the same building during the same semester at some point; but I don’t remember them. But, for the others, I do remember: .

That makes sense and Sheldon never could have handled that. I should have thought of that because I went to a school with a huge campus.
