How do you guys feel about the ethics of making an entertainment show about this serious case less than a decade after it happened, and while all the subjects of the programme are still living their day to day lives? It especially made me wonder how Shannon herself must feel after the whole ordeal. I read Karen Matthews is still harassed and assaulted in the street.

Haven't seen it yet, but I intend to. I'll add my 2 cents then. I'm glad to see someone in a British TV board! Cheers!

You and me both! Any recommendations? IMO, best of British TV is The Shadow Line and Line of Duty. (coincidence they both have 'line' in the name) Also, Happy Valley

Great! Thanks! I haven't seen either of those yet, but Line of Duty is on my 'very short' list after enjoying Mark Bonnar in the second season of Unforgotten (which I really enjoyed a lot).
Now for my suggestions. Hmm... The Night Manager, River, Unforgotten, Flowers, The Honourable Woman, Hinterland, Shetland, London Spy, Berlin Station, Apple Tree Yard... They're not in any particular order, just the first few I could easily rattle off.
