As Tooru's birthday approaches, Run remembers how Tooru helped her study for her high school entrance exams two years ago. Run brings in some cake into school for Tooru's birthday, some of which she spikes with wasabi. As they go home that day, Tooru starts to worry that at the end of the next school year, Run will graduate.

　　年关迫近的12月的某天。一边聊着小透的生日，一边像往常一样的四人在一起回家的路上，在校门附近见到了来学校说明会的初中生。由此，她们有了高中考试迫近的实感。

年の瀬迫る１２月のある日。トオルの誕生日の話などをしながら、いつものように四人で帰る途中、校門の近くで学校説明会に来ていた中学生を見かける。そこで、高校受験のシーズンも近いこと実感するのだった。
