Despite suffering from a mouth ulcer, Hotaru ignores Saya's protestations and eats a dagashi that packs a punch. Later on, Hotaru lets Kokonotsu in on the secret of her origins.

和往常不一样的萤，没有精神。原因是口腔溃疡惹的祸。正好也在店里的沙耶，指出口腔溃疡的理由是吃粗点心吃太多了，但是萤却说原因似乎是是“压力太大”、“睡眠不足”，来敷衍过去。而且强行吃着“棉花跳跳糖”。

Obwohl Hotaru an einem Mundgeschwür leidet, ignoriert er Sayas Proteste und isst einen Dagashi, der es in sich hat. Später weiht Hotaru Kokonotsu in das Geheimnis ihrer Herkunft ein.

いつもと違い元気がないほたる。なぜなら口内炎ができてしまったからだ。ちょうど店に来ていたサヤは、口内炎の理由を駄菓子の食べすぎだと指摘するが、ほたるは「ストレス」、「寝不足」と誤魔化し、その上『わたパチ』を食べるという暴挙に出てしまう。

시카다 막과자점에서 코코노츠를 기다리던 사야는 구내염 때문에 한쪽 볼이 부은 호타루를 만난다. 사야는 구내염의 원인이 막과자임을 깨닫지만, 호타루는 엉뚱한 이유로 부정하며 '톡톡 솜사탕'을 집어 든다. 그 광경에 사야는 경악하지만, 호타루는 먹으면 안 되는 때일수록 먹고 싶은 법이라며 결국 '톡톡 솜사탕'을 입에 넣는데...
