This is not the standard run of the mill horror TV show. I like how much they put into building the characters, the story and the atmosphere. I like how confident they were to go for the slow burn instead of jump scares or "action scenes" all the time.
So other than the author of the graphic novel, who is the responsible for the show? I want to check out their past and future work.

Thanks. I did try "Caste & Crew" page of this site but it wasn't much help. IMDb helpfully listed Nathaniel Halpern as the executive story editor, the one having the most influence on the writing of this show. Looks like I am already familiar with his work as I watched the first season of "Legion". His latest work "Tales from the Loop" seems interesting. Will check it out.
So did you watch Outcast?

No surprise. This show is not very famous and then it got cancelled. But it is kind of good. A class apart in the horror genre, if I may. Check it seems interesting to you.
This show is from the same guy who created "The Walking Dead"; I bet you heard of that one!

Of course, I've heard of TWD but I have never seen it (have no wish to).
