Timmy wishes for a magic remote control that will allow him to travel inside television, despite being grounded and facing pressure from his parents not to watch any. After Vicky wrecks the Turner home while babysitting and blames it on Timmy, they take his magic remote and place it in her hands, unaware of her evil nature and her desire to conquer the world -- a dream she could now make come true unless Timmy, Cosmo, Wanda, and a new friend from the future race through every channel to stop her and her evil scheems.

Timmy wenst dat hij een magische afstandsbediening heeft waarmee hij via de televisie kan reizen. Als snel ontdekt hij dat hij veel meer kan bedienen dan alleen zijn TV.

Timmy wünscht sich eine Fernbedienung, mit der er sich in jede Fernsehsendung beamen kann, auf die er gerade Lust hat. Seine Elfen haben ihm längst eine solche Fernbedienung besorgt, doch irgendwie gelingt es Vicky, sich das Ding zu schnappen. Damit plant sie nun, die Weltherrschaft an sich zu reißen ...

Al telegiornale di Dimmsdale si parla di Maho Mushi, un violento cartone animato giapponese amato da tutti i ragazzi della città che cercano di imitarlo procurandosi molti incidenti. Tra questi c'è Timmy Turner che, avendo i fantagenitori Cosmo e Wanda ad aiutarlo, riesce a copiare il cartone al meglio, pilotando un'enorme astronave per i cieli. Così facendo Timmy crea dei danni ai genitori, che per punizione gli proibiscono di guardare la televisione. Inoltre, dovendo uscire, fanno venire la babysitter Vicky. Dopo aver spiegato invano ai genitori che Vicky è cattiva, Timmy si chiude in camera, dove desidera di possedere un telecomando magico che gli permetta di entrare nella televisione e di viaggiare fra i programmi. Vicky lo scopre e telefona ai signori Turner, ai quali riferisce che Timmy stava guardando la TV e lo accusa di una serie di danni fatti da lei.
