Ryohei ties up Gokudera with a box weapon to make the battle fair against Gamma. Tsuna meanwhile attempts to escape from Spanner but Reborn who is able to get in contact with him after the base moves closer to the surface, tells him he needs to master the X-Burner or he can not defeat Millefiore. Ryohei is severely injured by Gamma. Hibari continues his way in the subway, surrounded by Milliefiore members once again.

入江正一操纵梅洛尼基地的构造，使得狱寺与了平遇见了昔日敌手，六吊花之一电光γ。从γ口中得知基地的秘密之后，双方马上展开对峙。担心狱寺过于冲动的了平，决定由自己独自对付γ，然而开战没多久，了平就被γ的绝招打中受到重创......

Alors que Shôichi Irie a reconfiguré la base Melone avec ses blocs mobiles, Yamamoto et Lal Mirch d'une part, et Gokudera et Sasagawa de l'autre part, se retrouvent séparés. Cette fois, ce sont ces deux derniers qui vont tomber sur un adversaire de taille : Gamma le Flash électrique.

入江により再びメローネのブロックが移動され、獄寺とγは、因縁の再会を果たした。獄寺の脳裏に、γに惨敗した記憶が蘇る。一方γは、メローネ基地のからくりに気づき、それを獄寺たちに語り始めた。余裕の表情のγだが、入江に対しての不信感がつのり、心中穏やかではない。だが「このバトルには感謝する」——そう呟き、彼は眼光を鋭くした。　真っ先に飛び出した獄寺だったが、了平の晴の炎で強化された縄で制されてしまう。了平は、ここは大人の自分が戦うと獄寺に言い聞かせ、γの前に歩み出る...！

Ryohei ata a Gokudera con un arma de caja para que la batalla contra Gamma sea justa.
