Finch and Adrienne return from a wonderful honeymoon in Tahiti, but upon their return, Finch is hit with a hard dose of reality. If he is to maintain his ""cool"" image in Adrienne's eyes, he will have to give up a lot of his favorite things, such as action figures, sci-fi conventions, and cat shows. What makes this so problematic is that his cat Spartacus has just made the finals of a big cat show, and winning has been a lifelong dream of his. Meanwhile, Maya and Elliott fret over whether their marriage is legal or not and end up seeking out the help of the cult's strange lawyer, Larry. Larry successfully annuls the marriage, but the two are left still unsure about the possible future implications of the whole affair.

Finch et Adrienne reviennent de leur lune de miel à Tahiti, mais sur le chemin du retour Finch est confronté au dur retour à la réalité : s'il veut conserver une bonne image aux yeux d'Adrienne, il devra abandonner beaucoup de ses activités favorites : les conventions de sciences-fiction, les figurines de guerre, les concours de chats... Pendant ce temps, Maya et Elliott se tourmentent : ils refusent de croire que leur mariage est légal. Ils finissent par demander l'aide d'un étrange avocat nommé Larry. Ce dernier annule avec succès le mariage mais Maya et Elliott restent inquiets quant aux conséquences futures de cette affaire...

Tras regresar de su viaje de bodas con Adrienne, Finch se da cuenta de que, si va a estar casado con una supermodelo, tendrá que cambiar de hábitos. Así, decide que sus congresos sobre ciencia ficción, el ajedrez por Internet y coleccionar soldaditos se han terminado.
