What is everybody's thoughts on this episode? It's another episode that I don't remember loving it, but having just watched it again I think it's great. Maybe it's because I didn't like seeing Cinnamon being tortured like that and in such pain. It was sort of a race against time with who could break who first. The whole sequence with that other guy in the warehouse convincing him to be debriefed was just great. It's amazing how even though she had no idea what was going on and was about to crack, she still had it so ingrained in her mind to not give anything up as far as secrets go

You're right about it being a great episode, but I don't watch it very often because I can't bear seeing Cinnamon being tortured either. The ending was the best when John Vernon starts to fire the machine gun but no one gets hurt because Jim and Rollin (and Cinnamon after they put the Trench coat on her) had bulletproof in their coats.
BTW, In real life, Barbara Bain was slightly claustrophobic, which was why Cinnamon very rarely wore a mask.

@Jayhn1111 : I was wondering, even though the name of the country the episode was set in wasn't mentioned, I got the impression that it was Berlin. What did you think?

@Jayhn1111 I watched The Exchange again last night, and even though she was great for the entire third season, I think that her performance in that episode clinched her winning her third Emmy in a row. What do you (and anyone else out there) think?

Yeah I think that episode really showcased her talents. It showed her vulnerable side and her inner thoughts and how she handled the fact that she was about to crack.

@Jayhn1111 And I liked the last scene when John Vernon started shooting at Jim and Cinnamon, but fortunately thanks to their bullet proof trench coats, they weren't hurt.
