Shouldn’t the last 3 episodes of season three be in a fourth season? Season 3 began in September 1998 and would have ended with episode 10 in May of 1999. The last three episodes are listed as having aired in September 1999 and February of 2000. This makes season three run from 1998 to 2000.

I was under the impression that TV shows were listed here based on how they were aired and not on production number. Many shows can have episodes produced in one order but air in a different order. They are listed in the database with the original air date and not the production number. Also, if they are produced during one season but don’t air until the next, which “season” should they be listed in? Can a TV season run for multiple years as in this case? Just my thoughts. I’m not sure what the rules for TheMovieDB are.

You are right. This is why I ask you how they were numbered at the time of the original broadcast, and not at the time of the production.
The one in which they are broadcasted.
Yes.

I apologize for my lack of knowledge. I didn’t realize that episodes were numbered at the time of their original broadcast. I have been unable to find any info for this online. I was basing my original question on the fact that episodes 1-10 aired from September 1998 through May 1999, and episodes 11-13 aired from September 1999 through February 2000. These last three episodes were originally aired, along with reruns of previous episodes, in a new TV season.
