Season 3 Episode 2, "Minute Man" When Keira comes time travels back one week in order to try to correct the problems created by Alec Sadler when he time traveled back by one week, she discovers that someone has shot and killed the Keira from that (now altered) time line. Keira calls Carlos and shows him the dead Keira, and then she explains the two Keiras and the two Alecs to Carlos. Carlos asks her "which one are you? Which one of you is the Keira that I've been working with for the last year? Which one of you is my partner, and my friend?" Really? Can he not tell that she knows him? Can he not reason that she is the same Keira, just one week older? She and the dead Keira were the same, but that she just has one extra week of experience. They had the same experiences up until that day when she traveled back into her own time line, creating a second Keira. But Carlos acts as if she is an impostor. "Who did I work with for the last year?" She should have said "Well Carlos, you worked with me. But because I was sent back a second time, I was basically photocopied. But I worked with you. Wanna quiz me?" But instead she is defensive and apologetic about it. Carlos seems angry that she has called him and shown him the dead Keira. He says 'you didn't need me to get rid of this body, you just wanted to show it to me'. He seems angry about it. Would he have preferred that she keep it a secret?
This is another example of the writers making characters act overwhelmed by emotion to the point of having no reasoning ability. This is the writers scrounging around for a way to create conflict, and coming up with a silly way to do it.
