Plankton turns everybody in Bikini Bottom from nice to naughty by feeding them his special jerktonium-laced fruitcakes and transforming them into donkeys in his attempt to get his Christmas wish—the Krabby Patty secret formula. However, it is revealed that the only victim capable of surviving the mineral is SpongeBob because of his massive love for the holidays which makes him immune to the effects of jerktonium.

Der winzige Bösewicht bekommt nie etwas vom Weihnachtsmann geschenkt. Um dies endlich zu ändern hat er sich etwas ganz besonders Durchtriebenes ausgedacht. Er will alle in Bikini Bottom in gemeine Ekel verwandeln, damit er als einziger gut dasteht. Was er sich wünscht? Natürlich die geheime Formel für die köstlichen Krabbenburger.

Mancano pochi giorni al Natale a Bikini Bottom. Dal momento che Plankton, essendo cattivo, ha ricevuto sempre del carbone, decide di far diventare malvagi tutti gli abitanti di Bikini Bottom dando loro un dolce alla frutta contaminato di "malvagionium", un elemento chimico da lui sintetizzato in grado di rendere malvagio chiunque lo assuma. Il piano del malefico copepode è di rendere tutti i cittadini malvagi cosicché il più "buono" sia lui. Ben presto tutti i cittadini vengono contagiati dal malvagionium, tranne SpongeBob che è immune. Plankton non si arrende e decide di costruire un robot raffigurante SpongeBob che distrugge la città, con lo scopo di far apparire anche lui malvagio. Intanto SpongeBob scopre che tutti in città sono cattivi e, chiedendo aiuto a Sandy, scopre che l'antidoto per il malvagionium è una melodia; la spugna, cantando tale melodia, riporta tutti come prima.
