Oga becomes tired of practicing and walks out of the gym, itching for a fight. He finds Miki training in a nearby Dojo, and challenges him to a fight. Oga takes all of Miki's attacks head on, and is clearly damaged from the strength of the attacks. Miki claims his technique is only at 70% power, but will be ready by the time the school festival arrives. Miki has a flashback to a time when Oga betrayed him in the past, where Miki followed Oga to fight alongside him, but Oga turned on him, knocking him down and kicking him on the floor. Oga finds Tojo and challenges him to a fight, looking for some insight into what his own special technique should be. Oga appears to be quite beaten up after fighting Tojo, but not deterred from it at all. He claims that it is all a matter of fighting spirit, and that he is ready to win at volleyball and any fights he gets into.

男鹿跟古市在练习排球时溜出来，却撞见道场里正在努力练习的三木，男鹿马上要求跟三木交手。三木则是质问男鹿，为什么在三年前，自己初中即将转学前，男鹿要背叛他。虽然男鹿似乎不记得这件事，但古市却记得很清楚。因为这件事，三木发誓一定变强，然后打倒男鹿。终于，三木对男鹿使出他未完成的必杀技！

Oga trouve finalement absurde de s’entraîner au volley alors qu’il ne souhaite qu’une chose : se battre avec Miki. Il va donc à sa rencontre dans le dojo où ce dernier s’entraîne. Encore une fois, leur combat ne permet de désigner aucun vainqueur. Il leur reste deux semaines avant la fête de l’école pour se préparer...

Finalmente si scopre perché Miki vuole a tutti i costi sconfiggere Oga! Il passato sono le mosse segrete del domani!

男鹿に勝つため、必殺技の完成を急ぐ三木。そこにバレーボールの練習に飽きた（？）男鹿が古市と共に現れる。気合の入った三木の稽古を見て、早速、戦いをふっかける男鹿。前回の戦いで三木に苦戦させられたことを忘れたように自信満々の男鹿に苛立つ三木は、中学時代の男鹿との出来事を持ち出し、男鹿を問い詰め出す。男鹿自身はとんと覚えていないようだが、古市にはその出来事に覚えがあった。　――中学時代、男鹿は、別の中学校の不良・霧矢（ルビ：きりや）に因縁をつけられていた三木を助けたことがあった。そのことを根に持った執念深い霧矢は、仕返しのために男鹿の学校にまで乗り込んでくる。自分を助けたばかりに男鹿を巻き込んだ責任を感じた三木は男鹿と共に戦おうとするが、男鹿は非力な三木を「知らないヤツ」と突き放し、一人戦ったのだ。　友達だと信じていた三木の心は裏切られ、この時を境に練習に練習を重ね、打倒男鹿のため強くなったのだ。その三木を相手に、前回同様、苦戦を強いられる男鹿。持ち前のタフさで何とか持ちこたえるものの、三木に少しのダメージも与えられないまま・・・。その男鹿に、ついに三木の未完成の必殺技、炸裂！
