The Macho Therapist
Josh and his lawyer wife Wendy, with a difference of opinion about sex, seek help from a marriage counselor. Josh imagines himself as the therapist, a mega-macho, Sopranos-like character. And later, he uses that image as the basis for a comedy sketch—an idea that's promptly stolen by his irritating boss.

Josh and Wendy decide its time for them to graduate from couple's therapy, but when Wendy sees Josh's latest sketch on the show, the 'Married Balladeer,' whose entire repertoire consists of anti-marriage songs, she realizes things aren't going as smoothly as she thought. They attempt to work through their issues by themselves each night before bed, but it isn't long before they are back in therapy. Meanwhile, Kenny gets dumped by his latest true love and Koosman coerces the writing staff into a game of Dungeons & Dragons.

Josh is convinced that Wendy's dad, Jack, doesn't like him because he isn't included on Jack's wall of photos. So, when Josh and Kenny get a call from the White House asking them to write some jokes for the President, Josh sees the perfect photo opportunity to impress his father-in-law. When his plan backfires, Josh's fantasy of himself and Kenny as Lucy and Ethel in the oval office comes a little too close to the truth. Meanwhile, Barb relives her youth as a '60s radical.
