Like Mash the man who started the Korean War, communist deadly, inhuman monster-leader Kim II Sung, is never mentioned even once. Though South Korean leader Syngmann Rhee is mentioned in this sequel show as well.
Other problems this show had was it was kind of low in period flavor. And now that was even slightly more important than on the original Mash. It was better not to show us lots of 1950's America in a sequel show to a series that had been more excusably mostly lacking in period flavor. Original Mash TV show had been guilty of bad left-wing non-values but it's period-flavor lack was excusable to a point.
More later.

Strange show. Since Mash was supposed to be, but really wasnt, representative of the Vietnam War was this show supposed to be symbolic, but really was not, of Vietnam War medical personnel returning home?
