Apparently not. Been trying. Clearly states that Down under was a special series, but my notice was dismissed as several others ave been also

Where's your proof?

The original website and press release do not appear to list seasons.

The current website has an alternative order in which both special seasons are regular seasons. Fish Squeezer is S6E1, Down Under's Lost in Aboriginal Land is S7E1, Rowe'd Trip: Dirty Infrastructure is S8E1 and Rodbuster / Galvanizer is S9E1.

Don't matter now. Season was short and sweet.

Discovery stated the new season is indeed Season 9. https://bit.ly/3LXJxYu

It's listed correctly on TVDB: https://thetvdb.com/series/dirty-jobs/episodes/8965071 Also TVGUide: https://www.tvguide.com/tvshows/dirty-jobs/episodes-season-9/1000109454/ And Amazon Prime: https://www.amazon.com/Dirty-Jobs-Season-9/dp/B09PBM5MRJ

This is causing problems with Trakt and they want it refreshed here first. I am not sure if Dirty Jobs Down Under should be split off to a new show, since it has a different title, or a special season.

I doubt this ever gets straightened out. Trakt will not recognize it as it presently is presented.

Season is not over... Mike Rowe has stated on his podcast that there are more episodes being shot right now. I was able to get Trakt to refresh/sync the data, so now the episodes are showing up, the season numbering is just wrong.

Fine then it just needs to be labeled Season 10 instead of nine, now that trakt identifies as 10
