The idea of the series is based on the conflict between good and evil, evil represents the great Vega, an evil space commander who lives in his spaceship in outer space whose goal is to control all the planets of the universe, Vega uses in his attack on other planets robots and huge robots, and one day Vega the Great invades the peaceful planet Fled, but the Duke of Fled, the son of the king of the planet Fled, manages to escape by stealing Grendizer, who was developing on the scientifically advanced planet Fleed and leads Grendizer To outer space until he falls days later tired on planet Earth and is found by Dr. Amon, head of the Space Research Center in Japan, and adopts the Duke of Fled without revealing the truth of his personality and calls him Daisuke, the events of the series begin when Vega the Great prepares his plan to invade Earth and Vega is surprised by the presence of Grendizer on Earth.

كوكب فليد كان متقدماً في العلم.. يعمّه السلام..وفي أحد الأيام ومن دون سبب أو سابق إنذار هجمت جيوش كوكب فيغا على هذا الكوكب المسالم.. هجمت بوحشية ومن دون رحمة لتفتك بالسكان وتدمر جمال الكوكب الجميل..دوق فليد شاهد والداه يموتا أمام عينيه خلال هجوم جيوش فيغا..فيغا الكبير وبعد هجومه على كوكب فليد، وضع يده على التكنولوجيا العالية والعلوم المتقدمة التي أمتاز بها كوكب فليد..أراد أن يستخدم جريندايزر في محاولاته السيطرة على الكون وحكمه..لكن دوق فليد لم يكن ليسمح له بالقيام بهذه الخطة الشريرة، فأقسم أن لا يسمح لفيغا بإستخدام جريندايزر وأن ينتقم منهم يوماً لما فعلوه في والديه وموطنه.. وتنفيذاً لهذا القسم شق طريقه بين جنود فيغا وأستولى على المركبة جريندايزر ليفر بها نحوالمجهول..لم يكن يعرف إلى أين سيذهب، أندفع دون هدف إلى أن وصل إلى كوكب الأرض..وبالصدفة، أكتشف الدكتور آمون جريندايزر بعد أن حطت في جبل فوجي..وجد دوق فليد في حالة سيئة فأخذه معه وأبقى شخصيته الحقيقية سراً عن الجميع وقام بتبنيه كأبن له وأسماه دايسكي آمون..فما هي الاحداث التي سيمر بها بطلنا ؟؟؟
