Two gentlemen on a train accidentally end up with their suitcases swapped. One of the suitcases contain an invaluable manuscript, the importance of which is unknown to the owner of that suitcase.

Jiban shares a strained relationship with his father. When he realises that their relationship might be warped because of Atmaram, he enlists the famed detective Feluda's help.

Nilmani Sanyal meets Feluda and shows him mysterious letters he has received from Egypt. Soon after, an Egyptian statue goes missing from his house. Feluda must solve the mystery.

When Kandarpanarayan's youngest son is found dead, Feluda is roped in to solve the murder, in addition to the police. However, the investigations reveal multiple suspects.
