Infuriated by Lady Blue's wounds following her fight with Vixen, Scarface leads an attack on the Farthing Wood animals. Fortunately, Hare manages to warn Fox and gather the animals in time. Ranger meanwhile attempts to aid the Farthing Wood animals but, in doing so unintentionally leads Scarface to their whereabouts. The attack culminates in a huge battle between Fox and Scarface which is ended when the Warden turns up, but not before Scarface is severely injured. Elsewhere, Adder decides its time to exact her plan of vengeance upon Scarface.

Im Weißhirschpark kommt es erneut zur Konfrontation der beiden Fuchssippen, und dieses Mal stehen sich die Anführer allein Auge in Auge gegenüber. Schließlich unterliegt der Blaufuchs und schleicht gedemütigt davon. Doch damit nicht genug, denn auch der Otter ist mittlerweile aus dem Winterschlaf erwacht und sinnt auf Rache gegen seine Peiniger.

Anche per Sfregiato è ormai guerra aperta; ha deciso di stanare e annientare tutti gli animali di Farthing insieme alla sua banda. Volpe e gli altri vengono a sapere dei suoi piani grazie all'avvertimento di Ranger, e così si rifugiano tutti nella tana di Volpe, in stato di allerta. All'arrivo del branco di Sfregiato, il nostro eroe gli propone un duello corpo a corpo per stabilire chi è il più forte. La lotta viene però interrotta dall'arrivo del guardiacaccia. Volpe è sul punto di finire Sfregiato, ma gli risparmia la vita accontentandosi di avergli già dato una lezione definitiva. Ma Vipera ha ben altre intenzioni nei confronti dell'odiata volpe blu.

Brisen och Modig väntar ungar och beslutar sig för att lämna staden och återvända till Vithjortsparken. Där har Huggorm just vaknat ur sin vintersömn och tänker hämnas på Enöga.
