Discuss NCIS: Sydney

Item: NCIS: Sydney

Language: en-US

Type of Problem: Incorrect_content

Extra Details: Hello. This tv show is originally from the United States. It’s a CBS original. It’s just on Paramount+ for Australia since the show is shot there. The network must be of the county of origin. Just Like FBI International the show belongs to the CBS no matter if it’s not shot mainly in the US. Then we have the case that Global Canada sometimes broadcasts the episodes first than the original networks and it’s not changed here so why is this being put as Paramount+ just because it premieres first when the show it’s stated to be a CBS original? Can you fix this? Thanks

This show is a coproduction between CBS and 2 Australian companies. It was first broadcasted in Australia on Paramount+ Australia. Consequently, it should be listed based on the Australian broadcast. The country of origin is the first production country where the show is released.

On this Deadline article, it is clearly indicated that it is a Paramount+ Australia series.

The situation would have been different if the show was produced only by United States companies, as it is the case for FBI International.
