that is incorrect according to the show's website.

Nothing is incorrect. Take S22E01 for example: the episode is titled "Mon, Oct 02, 2023" on the ABC website and that same title is also used on TMDB.

Then shouldn't it be "S22 E1 Mon, Oct 02, 2023" instead of only "Mon, Oct 02, 2023" ?

No? "S22 E1" is not part of the episode title; it's the season and episode number.

In the screenshot you provided of the ABC website, they include S22 E1 as part of the episode title.
To me it seems silly as TMDB already keeps track of seasons and episode numbers and date initially aired. Why the redundancy?! Why not just use the guests as the title (second line of the screenshot you provided, which was the status quo until recently.
