Is it just me is is this show another example of "crimefighters" of any kind on TV that blatantly ignore the current laws despite beeing situated in the real world and not som dystopian future or something? After watching a couple episodes i started to wonder why not basically everyone in the show ends up in jail ...

If you think "Crimefighters" don't break laws in pursuit of 'justice', you're kidding yourself. I think they do a good job here of showing how people will do anything in the name of doing what they perceive to be "Right" or "The Greater Good", or most of all - "To save lives". When people are engaged in that activity, it's easy to justify what is perceived by them to be 'technical' violations of the law. It's called 'cognitive dissonance'.

Uhm .. my point was not that real police etc. is any better, but that there should be consequnces at least once in a while ...
