When Superman is getting ready to fly the girl around the world, he says they'll be back in a couple of hours. So that's more than 12,000 miles per hour. Hmm--sounds like a really bad wind burn to me for the girl. Well, at least we now know that he can fly not only faster than a speeding bullet, but at least seven times as fast as a typical bullet.
By the way, what mother leaves her blind daughter alone in the apt. with the door unlocked? It seems there are myriad child-protection issues in this episode.

I had to laugh when they were flying over the snow-covered Himalayas and she said she wasn't cold.

The unlocked door wasn't realistic. It was a somewhat clumsy and unnecessary plot device to allow Kent and Lane to enter the apt. easily. They just as easily could have had the girl unlock the door for them instead of telling them it was unlocked.

I was rewatching it yesterday and had a good laugh when Superman is rocking the poor dangling girl wildly, to simulate dancing.
