The two main supporting actors Willa Fitzgeral (Roscoe) and Malcolm Goodwin (Finlay ) aren't returning. Maria Sten returns as Frances Neagley, who worked with Reacher in the U.S. Army 110th MP Special Investigations Unit and is considered his female counterpart.

Probably a good thing given that it’s more in character. I think it’s easier to accept the absence of peoples and places from before, since Reacher is known for his nomadic ways (like the fugitive--except no one is chasing him?).

Think the 3-episode premiere was a stellar idea. After that long absence, it felt like “instantly” getting-up-to-speed with the ins-and-outs of character.

Just when I was reasonably sure I was going to be "surprise-deprived" this entire season--guess who showed up in S2E4?

Yep! The man himself - Oscar Finlay.

Didn't see that coming! It probably was a 'one-off'; but since I like the actor...AND the character...I'll take what I can get.
