YUEN is a big fan of horses. He is going to buy some paint for his father WAH and even on his way, he tries watching the horse races. As he hurries back, he runs into a girl named YEE and drops his pot of paint, which in turn makes WAH unable to recover the balance due. While WAH is discussing with YUEN how to explain to his wife LAN their failure to recover the balance due, LAN discovers that WAH has been gambling on the horses. The couple soon get into a severe quarrel. YUEN and his friend DONG together with TUNG are invited to Milano Restaurant, where DONG’s brother NAM is working as a chef, to comment on a trial menu. TUNG grumbles about her supervisor MING all through the dinner and YUEN just suggests writing a story of his favourite horse ‘Little Elephant’. YUEN and TUNG even sneak into the stable to steal a look. YUEN sees a stable worker beat Little Elephant and he soon flies into a fury……

YEE works in a comic company, though she is not willing to. She stays there all for her sister TUNG’s sake. YUEN has applied to be a stable worker. WAH knows for sure that LAN is going to object to it and thus persuades YUEN to give up. With the help of DONG, TUNG has successfully transferred to the Horse Racing Section. MING points out that she could not have done this without DONG, which irks TUNG. TUNG’s youngest sister YAN slips away from home to chill out but gets hurt at the end. As commanded by TUNG, YAN cannot go out until she has finished the HKCEE examination. YUEN meets YEE again after the interview. He calls her ‘Miss Ill-luck’ while she addresses him as ‘Mr. Stupid’. TUNG gets a bit down when she knows that the Horse Racing Section is just a team of old men. She feels even more disappointed as she finds that MING is quite closed to her present supervisor CHIU……

YUEN comes to know that YEE is TUNG’s sister. They start to quarrel as soon as they meet. DONG reveals that he may get promoted but TUNG is not at all optimistic about that since he is not a degree holder. DONG is soon full of disappointment. YUEN and CANDY have been assigned to the same stable for practical training. Both of them are late on their first working day and are blamed by SAM, the number-two supervisor of the stable. YUEN comes to know that the guy who beat Little Elephant is actually SAM’s nephew and he therefore can foresee he himself is going to suffer under SAM’s supervision. All of YEE’s colleagues say their boss WAI is fond of YEE. CHIU asks TUNG to take some photos of horse training and TUNG has to turn to YUEN for help. TUNG’s efforts are very much appreciated by the editor TONG while YUEN is blamed by SAM. Luckily, CHI the horse trainer is there trying to defend YUEN……

SAM says YUEN has tried to feed a sweet to Little Elephant and he reckons it is totally wrong and unacceptable. For this matter, he is going to fire YUEN. YUEN learns from SUP that JANG was an eminent horse trainer but is notorious for having poisoned horses. Little Elephant has recovered its appetite. YUEN is so surprised by this but he soon finds out the reason – sweets dropped into the horse feed have lured it back to food. CHIU suggests to TONG that TUNG may substitute for SHING who is on sick leave to write a special feature. TUNG again asks for YUEN’s help. Horse trainer CHU asks YUEN to saddle up Little Elephant but it has gone crazy as soon as it sees the saddle. YUEN tries to calm it down and is hurt. JANG reveals to YUEN that the stable worker who used to oversee Little Elephant is a Shanghainese. The very next day, YUEN begins to talk to the horse in Shanghainese and it shows response……

YUEN is thrilled with the news that Little Elephant can join the training but is soon turned off when he knows that the horse refuses to run. He then tries to figure out the solution. YEE takes YAN and WAI’s daughter CHUN to the carnival held by Hong Kong Jockey Club. There she meets YUEN again and the two of them soon start to quibble. YAN tries to ride on a horse and has caused an accident. Luckily she is saved in time by a jockey called CHEUNG. YAN is so impressed by the man. YUEN shows Little Elephant all its brilliant achievement, hoping to stimulate its spirit. He fails nevertheless. TUNG points out that TONY, with his strong academic background, is a great rival of DONG’s. DONG takes offence at that and the couple start to quarrel. TUNG goes off in a huff and YUEN, as a friend of theirs, tries to patch their relationship up……

Little Elephant has won but CHEUNG, its rider, is accused of having breached the rules. YUEN is so worried about the result. TUNG has once again provided perfectly correct tips for the readers, which is highly appreciated by TONG. TONG decides to leave her to take charge of a new column. It is not DONG but TONY who is promoted. TUNG feels upset while DONG has to hide his disappointment. YUEN has become more and more arrogant since Little Elephant’s victory in the race. Both SUP and JANG cannot put up with him. JANG reminds him there is no short cut to success and suggests he should read more to enrich his knowledge. YUEN takes TUNG’s advice and goes to buy a computer for himself so that he can read more and in turn learn more from the web. On the way he meets YEE and WAI. He points out to YEE that lots of evidence indicates that WAI is wooing her. YEE wonders. YAN encounters CHEUNG, who gets to kiss her……

YUEN, holding YEE’s handkerchief in his hand, thinking of YEE’s anxious face, comes to realise what a lovely girl she really is. YUEN and CANDY follow JANG back to his home, hoping to have a look at his private notebook. There they encounter JANG’s wife SAU. YEE and CHUN meet YUEN in a public library. YUEN, with the help of CHUN, makes an apology to YEE. YEE’s attitude towards him has then slightly softened. YAN is thinking about being a jockey trainee. WAI looks for thousands of excuses to date YEE. YEE feels annoyed but knows not how to turn him down. Meanwhile YUEN comes along and helps her out by claiming that he is in love with YEE. YUEN is busy looking up words in the dictionary, which is quite time-consuming. YEE knows that and so seeks excuses to give him an instant dictionary. YUEN feels very grateful for her thoughtfulness. DONG fails to keep a date with TUNG as he has to sit the TOEFL test……

TUNG shows strong opposition to YAN’s plan to learn riding. YEE helps YAN to convince TUNG. JANG needs YUEN to read books on horses of Mongolian species and human acupuncture points. YUEN has no clue about his intention. YUEN overhears YEE praising him and feels so happy. They are getting along with each other extremely well. YUEN asks JANG about the rumours saying he has poisoned horses. JANG admits that is true and immediately drives him off. SAU just cannot understand why he told such a lie. DONG has failed the TOEFL test and again quibbles with TUNG over TONY’s promotion. TUNG recalls how she started with DONG. She in fact was at first attracted to YUEN. YUEN reveals he may be promoted to the post of Rider. SUP, on the other hand, just reminds him to keep his feet on the ground. TONY keeps telling DONG off in front of TUNG, which makes DONG really embarrassed……

YUEN teaches DONG horse riding but it is obviously of no interest to DONG. YAN heads for the Jockey Training School where she meets ON, a classmate of hers. YAN finds the school rules so strict. Mobile phones are not even allowed at school. She is therefore afraid that CHEUNG cannot get hold of her. The coach SING is nicknamed ‘Devil’ and all trainees are too scared to get near him. ON thinks YAN is very cute and funny, and is deeply attracted to her. He does not mind helping her out. SING finds YAN is quite talented. YUEN waits for YEE in the library and YEE is thrilled to bits. YEE has promised to go horse riding with YUEN and is therefore busy choosing an outfit for her first date. CHEUNG sneaks into the training school to meet YAN. SING discovers that someone has slipped out of the school without permission and is asking for witnesses. ON, though knows the truth, does not say a word. YAN feels thankful……

SING urges YAN to leave as she has breached the rules all over again. YAN tries to defend herself and the principal promises her one more chance. This time, YAN is determined to do her best at school in order to show SING her power. She can finish every single task as others do. SING thinks highly of her. DONG is reconciled with TUNG but still cannot find a job. He plans to take over Milano Restaurant. YEE is very much looking forward to her first date with YUEN but YUEN cannot make it because he needs to join CHI for horse training. YEE is unhappy and does not speak to him. YUEN, however, supposes she is perhaps not interested in him, and thus gets so down. TUNG cannot work with CHIU any longer and with TONG’s permission, she has invited photographer KEI to be her partner. DONG and NAM have not got enough money to buy Milano Restaurant and are quite perplexed……

CHEUNG explains to YAN that CONNIE is his sister and YAN has immediately relieved all her worries. ON comes to know that CHEUNG and YAN are lovers and he feels very distressed. SAU realises CANDY’s love for YUEN and just encourages her to go for it. Since then, CANDY seeks every chance to approach YUEN. DONG persuades WAH to invest in Milano but horse races have already preoccupied WAH, who therefore shows no response at all. DONG leaves disappointingly. Along his way he passes by an off-course betting branch and decides to try his luck with the tips off YUEN. He at last has won HK$200,000. DONG successfully takes over Milano, which makes TUNG incredibly happy. TUNG suggests providing readers with VCDs as gifts. Her idea is strongly opposed by CHIU but highly appreciated by TONG. YAN keeps pestering CHEUNG by calling him on and on, which annoys CHEUNG immensely……

YAN tries to overload herself with work, hoping this would help relieve her pain of losing CHEUNG. She not only intentionally breaks the school rules but also attempts to ride on a mad horse. Luckily SING is there and he stops it just in time. SING takes YAN to the hospital to visit ANNIE, formerly a jockey trainee who has now become handicapped. YEE goes to dine with her colleagues at Milano. There she meets YUEN, who tries to chat her up. With the help of CHUN, YUEN and YEE have made a date. They are shaping up as lovers and KUM feels so pleased with that. TUNG’s VCDs have become incredibly popular. Her efforts are surely recognised by TONG. CHIU, on the other hand, still tries to pick her up on her work. JANG is so happy to see YUEN again. CHEUNG gives a talk at the Jockey Training School, during which YAN means to embarrass him. YAN gets punished as a result……

SING gets hurt while rescuing YAN, which makes YAN so much regret. Milano is making profits and as a result, YUEN and TUNG are given 1% of the total shares respectively. LAN wants to know more about YEE and therefore joins the voluntary team. She reckons YEE is a very kind-hearted girl and is very fond of her. She tries to be nice and warm towards YEE but has scared her a bit. As those horse racing fans find out TUNG is the renowned horse racing commentator they have known for long, they just cannot wait to ask for her autograph. DONG feels proud of her yet somewhat inferior. CHIU blames KEI for producing an incorrect report and TUNG promises to take up all responsibility if prosecution is brought. KEI feels thankful. Tycoon KAI comes to dine at Milano and DONG gets so excited by his visit. KAI and TUNG have a chat and they seem to enjoy each other very much, which makes DONG a little jealous……

CANDY tries hard to please LAN yet fails. YUEN agrees to accompany CANDY back to her home but ends up leaving her alone midway. She can only ask for SAU’s help. SAU advises her to get a new image for herself. CANDY follows her suggestion but it turns out to be a total disaster because her new image has astonished and amused all of her colleagues including YUEN. WAI gets aware that YEE is going out with YUEN and he means to make YEE work overtime. YUEN, dying to see YEE, has brought some food to YEE’s office. The two of them have a great time and WAI gets insanely jealous. TUNG is becoming more and more popular. DONG, in fear of losing her, has decided to expand his business. NAM is worried about his brother’s empty ambition. YAN has created a special diet for ON, who is deemed slightly overweight. ON is just so thankful. ON suffers from immense stress as his father HUNG always expects too much of him……

TUNG wonders if YUEN is seeing YEE. Recalling how she was refused by YUEN when she was younger, TUNG burns with anger and jealousy. The special diet designed by YAN has made ON sick and YAN feels so sorry. She is astonished to find that ON is in love with her. DONG tries to keep up appearances, though he does not have enough money to establish a new branch of the restaurant. TUNG is getting tired of his jealousy and his lack of confidence. TUNG knows YUEN is going to make up a birthday party for YEE. She then means to interfere by requesting YUEN to help do some research. YUEN refuses and TUNG loses her temper. YUEN has no clue about why she is like that. DONG suspects that TUNG is in love with another man and that he himself is just her second choice. YUEN tries to free him from doubts, though he is so surprised by DONG’s words. TUNG lies to YUEN saying that the flu is spreading over the stable where Little Elephant stays……

TUNG points out that CHI will be leaving to become a qualified horse trainer and can no longer look out for YUEN. She then persuades him to resign and to join in creating the website on horse racing. YUEN somewhat agrees with her. Just a day afterwards, YUEN learns that SAM is to replace CHI. SAM keeps grumbling about YUEN. He even questions YUEN’s ability as a rider. DONG reckons he can put his doubts aside when he realises YUEN is wooing YEE. But as soon as he feels TUNG’s jealousy of YEE, his worries come back. YUEN plans to take the course ‘Stable Management’ but this is objected by SAM. YUEN gets irked. TUNG knows there is something wrong with DONG and just asks him what has actually happened. DONG then reveals all his doubts over her relationship with YUEN. Immediately TUNG denies ever falling for YUEN, and before she goes, she gives DONG a slap. DONG is heart-broken. CANDY suggests DONG go with her to the racecourse for gambling……

DONG loses all his money and TUNG thinks she has some responsibility for that. She promises she will be true and loyal to him and urges him to believe it. She asks for more communication and mutual understanding. DONG suggests recruiting new staff for Milano and NAM is glad to see that he can concentrate on the business. TUNG discovers CHIU has been copying her work for his part-time job. She of course cannot wait to complain to a senior staff member HO. CHIU is fired at once. HO is quite interested in TUNG’s website project and urges her to start working on it. This astonishes TONG. CHUN has suddenly disappeared and that in fact has something to do with WAI’s comics which are full of violence. YEE suggests WAI should figure out a new mission for his comic company. WAI agrees. DONG suspects YUEN and TUNG have had lunch together and cannot put up with that. He goes gambling again, taking it as a tool to release his stress and pain……

WAI invites YEE to Japan for business. NAM discovers that DONG has been to Macau, most probably for gambling. YUEN and TUNG have a meeting with a renowned horse racing commentator MA at a hotel. DONG just sees the two of them coming out of the hotel and supposes they have an affair. DONG cannot control himself and has a fight with YUEN. TUNG is determined to break up with DONG, who, on the other hand, asks for marriage. However, nothing is going to change TUNG’s mind. She returns DONG all the money that she owes him and DONG is thrown into despair. TUNG’s tips on horse racing are deemed absolutely reliable, which makes her more and more popular. HO decides to name the website ‘TUNG TAK’, which is TUNG’s nickname. TUNG is thrilled to pieces. DONG steals all the money from Milano and NAM has no more cash to pay his staff. YUEN promises to take up the responsibility. DONG asks TUNG for money but is rejected……

DONG begs YUEN and TUNG to take over Milano so that he will have enough money to pay the debt. YUEN says he will take it into account. LAN originally rejects the idea of buying Milano but has changed her mind after listening to WAH’s opinions. When everything is done, DONG discloses to the press that TUNG and YUEN have cheated him out of the restaurant. Reporters keep grumbling about TUNG and the worst thing is, she has to hand the website project over to TONG, which makes her even more annoyed. DONG has kidnapped TUNG, who is later saved by YUEN. NAM begs TUNG to let DONG off. Though TUNG agrees, DONG is eventually caught and prosecuted by the police. DONG goes and asks TUNG if she has ever loved him right before he kills himself. TUNG, having seen DONG commit suicide, gets so scared and loses her consciousness. She is later sent to the hospital. Daily papers say TUNG and YUEN should be responsible for DONG’s death……

YUEN does not know how to handle his relationship with TUNG. He is going to leave things as they are while TUNG still hopes to start with him. YEE learns of the truth of DONG’s death from NAM and realises that she may have misunderstood TUNG and YUEN. She apologises to TUNG and they are then reconciled. As suggested by WAI, YEE comes to reveal her love in front of YUEN, which makes YUEN so perplexed. TUNG discloses that she has had sex with YUEN and YEE gets greatly shocked. YUEN, meanwhile, also admits everything, thus throwing YEE into total despair. LAN sympathises with the lovelorn YEE. KEI tells TUNG that she is invited to join a leading TV station but TUNG does not seem very much interested in it as she has already lost her enthusiasm. YEE suggests YUEN have a talk with TUNG and give her some encouragement. YUEN finds TUNG on the Lamma Island. He knows he is probably the source of her suffering……

TUNG takes YUEN back to home for dinner. YAN reckons TUNG has kind of betrayed YEE by stealing her boyfriend. ON is assigned to work at the stable where his father HUNG has been working for. HUNG is unsatisfied with ON’s performance and thinks he is not bright enough. YAN is assigned to work at the stable headed by SAM. Her sweet flattering words and sound interpersonal communication skills have impressed SAM very much. TUNG works at the TV station assisting in the production of a horse racing programme. The host of the horse racing programme CHUNG is well known for his expertise and experience in analysing horse races. He looks down upon TUNG, which irritates her greatly. KAI shows up at the TV station and TUNG seeks chances to approach him. She encourages reporters to take photos for them. The community centre that YEE has been volunteering for has a new member LEON……

YAN feels distressed because every trainee except for herself has got a placement job. YUEN asks CHU if he is willing to employ YAN but SAM keeps meddling. WAI and the members of a printer have co-purchased a horse. They are invited to have a visit to the stable and during which, WAI has a quarrel with SAM. He then advises the printer members to move the horse to CHI’s stable for better care and treatment. CHU believes it is CHI’s plot and gets so angry. Due to YUEN’s closeness to CHI, CHU no longer trusts YUEN and later, as suggested by SAM, even plans to fire YUEN. Officer from the Health and Welfare Department MAN suspects LAM and his family have been cheating Hong Kong Government out of the comprehensive social security assistance. LAM claims that he was injured while working and wants to explain more to MAN. MAN rejects it anyway. MAN is in fact CHEUNG’s elder brother, and a cousin of CHI. MAN advises CHEUNG to join CHI’s stable……

TUNG has prepared dinner for LAN and WAH only for the sake of pleasing them and at the end of the day, she succeeds. YUEN points out that SAM has fully exploited ON and is in turn dismissed. YUEN does not understand why JANG has declined Macau Jockey Club’s job offer. YEE finds that HONG (LEON) and his mother HAN have been severely bullied by his father. She therefore brings them to a charitable organisation asking for help. HAN’s application for government assistance has been rejected and YEE immediately approaches MAN for negotiation. MAN turns YEE down again and under her arrangement, HAN and HONG can temporarily put up in WAI’s comic office. YUEN joins CHI’s stable and so does CANDY. A horse from CHI’s stable has won the first race. Everyone is thrilled to pieces. HAN is employed by WAI as a cleaner and with YEE’s help, she even successfully rents a flat……

YAN is given a chance to take part in a race but she misses it finally. She thinks it has something to do with CHEUNG who wants to seek revenge. To add some fun to the website, TUNG suggests setting a game for the gamblers and the winners of the game would have the chance to either dine with her or tour around Australia with her. YUEN dislikes this idea, though. LAM is no longer entitled to government assistance and for this matter, he is going to kill himself. Before he does so, he calls YEE’s hotline for help. YEE promises to follow up his case and immediately approaches MAN for negotiation. YAN eventually can take part in a race but during which, she meets with danger. TUNG dines with the winner of the website game and reporters have taken photos of the whole scene. YAN disagrees with what TUNG has done. KAI asks TUNG for a date and TUNG has not given him a definite answer……

YEE is given a very nice nickname ‘Angel of Justice’. KAI decides to donate HK$100,000 to her hotline and TUNG is therefore getting increasingly envious of YEE. CHEUNG discloses that he has already broken up with CONNIE and reminds YAN that there is no need for her to try to make him jealous or irritated. YAN has finally secured the licence and is now a qualified jockey. YAN and CHEUNG are reconciled and ON feels heart-broken. TUNG has been promoted and can now act as one of the hosts of the horse racing programme. YEE carries an evening dress to the TV station, as instructed by TUNG and during which, she hurts her ankle. YUEN takes care of her by applying some bruise lotion to her wound. YEE comes to realise she has been cheated by LAM. She goes to negotiate with him but gets hurt again. Meanwhile, MAN passes by and sends her to the hospital. MAN reminds her to look into every single case very carefully with thorough analysis……

YAN has won eventually. CHEUNG is heading for Japan for an international horse race. YAN keeps her fingers crossed for him. TUNG asks for an interview with YAN, which makes YAN a bit embarrassed. YEE is admitted to a degree course on social work. All are worried that she is going to suffer too much burden but YEE insists she can cope with that. Nonetheless, she becomes too exhausted and passes out inside WAI’s office. Having compromised with WAI, YEE will quit her job and work part-time for WAI instead. YEE meets MAN at the university, who is working as a supply lecturer. She feels so regretful for having made MAN unemployed. ON gives YAN a nice birthday present and reveals his love for her. YAN is too scared to show any response. She tells CHEUNG about that but he gives no comment. YAN turns ON down saying they are just friends. ON is disappointed. CHEUNG, on the other hand, shows his passion for YAN and is accepted……

YEE suggests that there should be a cooling-off period between the couple and advises FUN to put up in a hotel. CHEUNG recommends YAN to CHU, which makes YAN so touched. CHEUNG and YAN take part in the same race but CHEUNG has not won this time. FUN learns of KUEN’s fear of losing her. She recognises the importance of mutual communication and is soon reconciled with her husband. ON is entitled to take part in a race, in which he has to compete with CHEUNG. He vows he will never let CHEUNG win. Both CHEUNG and ON try to take the lead during the race but at last neither of them wins. They are blamed by CHI and CHU respectively, who are bosses of theirs. TUNG writes a feature describing and analysing the conflict between CHI and CHEUNG, which makes CHI extremely angry. YEE invites MAN to join her hotline and MAN agrees. CHEUNG gets a shoe box from the leader of an illegal betting QUINN, in which he finds ….

CHEUNG has won several times in a row. This makes CHI trust him more and more. YUEN finds that YAN is going out with CHEUNG and YAN begs him to keep it secret. YUEN has carelessly revealed to TUNG YAN’s relationship with CHEUNG. TUNG, in turn, discloses the details on the web. Luckily CHI has not put the blame on them. TUNG does not seem to regret for what she has done no matter how much YUEN and YAN disagree with her. TUNG has become one of the website directors by using various stratagems. YUEN feels that is just so disgusting. YAN and YEE go to meet CHEUNG’s family. Out of her expectation, YEE sees MAN there – she did not know that MAN is CHEUNG’s elder brother. YEE tries every way to cheer YUEN up, who appears to be quite unhappy. YUEN is touched by her thoughtfulness and regrets having given her up. YEE asks MAN, who now works at the Charity Section of HKJC, to organise a visit to a residential care home for the elderly……

CHEUNG spends loads of cash entertaining the jockey trainees and ON wonders how he can afford it. CHEUNG has given quite a number of expensive presents to YAN and her mother. YUEN suspects CHEUNG is involved in illegal deals. TUNG puts into her website all the details of CHEUNG’s spendthrift ways. CHEUNG supposes YUEN is TUNG’s source of information. He gets so angry with YUEN and urges CHI to dismiss him. YUEN resigns but CHI suggests he take annual leave. A jockey gets injured and ON is to substitute for him, which ends up destroying CHEUNG’s plan to influence the result of the race. QUINN orders his subordinates to bash ON up. ICAC suspects CHEUNG has been taking bribes and soon starts investigation. ON realises trainee JIT, like CHEUNG, has accepted bribes. ON reminds him it is illegal but JIT warns him not to interfere. Here ON comes to understand why he was beaten up……

ICAC comes to take action. CHEUNG, YAN and JIT are all invited to the ICAC office for further information. So are MAN and CHI. YEE asks YAN whether she is involved in bribery and YAN denies at once. TUNG suggests YEE dig out more information about the bribery case from MAN but YEE refuses. CHEUNG denies having taken bribes and MAN just trusts him. YAN discloses all the facts and CHEUNG becomes furious. He asks YAN why she has betrayed him. TUNG misleads the public through the web by reporting that MAN is also involved in the bribery case. YEE is very unhappy with that. TUNG asks KEI to follow CHU around for more information. She writes on the web that CHU has been engaged in deals with QUINN. CHU gets insanely angry by such an incorrect report and cannot concentrate while driving, thus causing a car accident. CHU is planning to sue TUNG, who tries to shift the responsibility onto KEI. KEI comes to know how selfish she is……

MAN persuades CHEUNG to sign a confession but CHEUNG refuses. YEE goes to visit MAN, who is recalling his earlier days with CHEUNG. KEI is dismissed and TUNG admits it is all her fault. YEE again forgives her. YUEN is cheered up by the news that JANG is going to replace CHU as the horse trainer. JANG invites YUEN to join his stable to become a rider. YEE and his classmates are planning to set up a nursery to provide services for the families in need. They invite MAN to be their consultant. MAN is so impressed by YEE’s kindliness. KEI has written an article revealing how TUNG has betrayed him. TUNG decides to sue KEI. KEI immediately turns to YUEN and YEE for help. TUNG explains to them that it is not her but KAI who sues KEI. KEI makes a formal apology to TUNG in a press conference. YUEN and YEE feel so disappointed in TUNG. YUEN even decides to break up with her.

YUEN meets YEE and tells her about his separation from TUNG. He sympathises with YEE for having such a nasty sister. YEE just weeps without saying a word. SAM means to please a horse owner HOR. He claims Little Elephant is physically unsuitable for racing and suggests that HOR’s horse may take Little Elephant’s place. But JANG knows SAM is lying. ON is appointed to ride on Little Elephant and he has won eventually. He is getting more confidence now. The owner of Little Elephant, KING has been busy preparing for the upcoming election. He plans to make some contribution to local charitable work so that he may win more votes in the election. YUEN recommends that he may sponsor YEE and lease an apartment to YEE with lower rent as her office. YUEN is going out with YEE and refuses to see TUNG any more. TUNG vows to pay YUEN back and gets to trap him……

The lawyer who defends CHEUNG points out that YAN was once dumped by CHEUNG and now she is just trying to frame CHEUNG because she wants to revenge herself on him. YAN feels distressed. CHEUNG insists he is innocent and even plans to flee away. He is finally sent to the prison and MAN gets so down. YEE is going to submit her application to HKJC for a grant. Her enthusiasm is particularly appreciated by MAN. YAN takes part in a race but is defeated. The press says that she cannot win without CHEUNG. YAN is so frustrated. To please YEE, YUEN tries to design and make some furniture for her office. YEE and MAN seem to quite enjoy each other and so YUEN supposes MAN is his greatest rival. TUNG suffers a huge loss in the stock exchange and owes tycoon CHOO loads of money. She recommends a proposal to CHOO, which is going to generate enormous publicity for him. And if she succeeds, she is allowed to delay paying off her debts……

YUEN fears that he may lose YEE as MAN is certainly a very strong rival of his. LAN and WAH show support and urge him not to give up. YUEN realises YEE has been avoiding him. He does not want to give her too much stress and therefore explains to YEE that he always welcome open competition and that she needs not hurry to make a decision. YEE then feels a bit relaxed. TUNG does care whether YAN can win the race, thus causing her loads of pressure. YAN has nightmares all through the night and the next day, she injures herself during the race. TUNG puts all the blame on YAN because she cannot delay paying off the debts now that YAN has lost the race. YAN feels incredibly depressed and frustrated. CHOO has made a huge donation to YEE’s charitable organisation but the money is taken away by TUNG in secret. This has astonished the media. YEE thinks she has to make clarification because it is important to protect the organisation’s reputation.

TUNG appears in the press conference and claims that it is just a pack of lies. She reveals that YUEN and YEE are lovers and they have been trying to frame her. Rumours then begin to go around. YUEN gets irritated while YEE feels so embarrassed. To avoid trouble, YEE claims that MAN is her only boyfriend. YUEN feels heart-broken yet tries to concentrate on his work. KAI is willing to lend TUNG money only if she agrees to move into his lodge. TUNG has got no choice but to accept it. JANG recommends YUEN for a promotion. He also points out that Little Elephant should be able to set a new record and by then, it may retire honourably. When YUEN knows another horse ‘Chau Sze’ is going to race as well, he becomes quite worried about Little Elephant’s performance. SAM and KIU sense that there is something wrong with Little Elephant but just hide it. YUEN has a nightmare……

YUEN blames JANG for Little Elephant’s death. He realises what KING really cares about is whether the horse can make money. He feels extremely distressed and therefore resigns. TUNG asks KUM to live with her in KAI’s lodge, which makes everyone believe that she is going to be reconciled with YEE. YEE is also looking forward to family reunion. Out of the blue, TUNG just reminds YEE not to bother her, which means YEE has to rely on herself. WAI plans to purchase a horse and SAM introduces him to a middleman, through which SAM has earned some commission. CANDY passes Little Elephant’s ashes on to YUEN so that he can bring them back to New Zealand. YEE moves into her new house and there he meets with danger – she is almost raped. MAN reckons it is really dangerous for YEE to live on her own. He then rents a room to YEE. YEE thanks him for the help. Before he heads for New Zealand, YUEN learns that YEE has moved into MAN’s house……

LAN and WAH fear that YEE and MAN will be shaping up as lovers, and therefore try every possible way to interfere. YUEN is so surprised to see JANG in New Zealand. He comes to know the truth about Little Elephant’s death and has eventually forgiven JANG. On a farm in New Zealand, they see a horse that is suffering from skin problems, and is going to be euthanised. They then offer to treat it. KUM is not happy ever since she has moved into KAI’s house. She is just regarded as a maid. One day when KAI comes, she is made to go out. She just keeps wandering around and is later sent to the police station. YEE goes to negotiate with TUNG for her mother’s sake but ends up getting into a severe quarrel with TUNG. MAN goes to see CHEUNG who is now kept in prison. CHEUNG does not seem to regret for his sin and MAN gets so disappointed in him. YAN races again but due to her lack of confidence, she has lost finally. CHI puts all the blame on her……

YEE flies to New Zealand to see how YUEN is getting on. This has got MAN so down. YEE can put all her worries aside as YUEN is fine. YUEN is so happy to see that YEE still cares about him. ON tries every way to stimulate YAN’s spirit. YUEN reveals her love to YEE before she returns to Hong Kong but YEE does not accept it because his one-time love relationship with TUNG has really messed her up. YUEN is determined to succeed, only for the sake of YEE. He reckons the horse Fuk has loads of potential and decides to train it. He renames it ‘Lucky Star’. YEE comes back alone and MAN supposes he has still got a chance. KAI is seeing a foxy star. TUNG realises that KAI is probably getting tired of her. She tends to overeat because of depression. She gets easily irritated and always shouts at KUM. Poor KUM is even expelled from home. TUNG comes across a horse seller and becomes interested in buying and selling horses……

Lucky Star races for the first time but it has made its rider have a fall. It then runs back to the stable. TUNG means to embarrass YUEN by mocking him. YEE needs money for her charitable organisation. YUEN and MAN are therefore trying to raise fund for her. YEE feels thankful for their support. YAN rides on Lucky Star and comes to defeat TUNG’s horse, thus making TUNG furious. ON seeks chances to disclose his love for YAN. TUNG has purchased an Australian horse ‘Lightning Speed’ with HK$7,000,000 in KAI’s name. This irks KAI considerably. TUNG has a serious problem with overeating and is sent to the hospital. YUEN and YEE pay her a visit but they are not at all welcomed. MAN suggests that YEE should accept YUEN, if he is her true love. He blesses the couple, even though he is so envious of YUEN. KAI fires TUNG, which has almost driven her mad. Lucky Star keeps winning and CHI is going to let it take part in a large-scale race……

YUEN takes special care of Lucky Star as it is allergic to mint. Lightning Speed wins beautifully in its very first race, which worries YUEN a lot. MAN is heading for Shanxi to serve the needy. His revelation of love for YEE has made her so confused. YEE reckons that YUEN and herself do not share common values. YUEN is determined to compete with MAN. YAN and ON are admitted to the race for jockey trainees. They are to ride on Lucky Star and Lightning Speed respectively. They have made a pact – if ON wins, YAN will have to accompany him on a trip but if he loses, he will have to clean the toilets for YAN. KAI asks for separation from TUNG and TUNG gets insanely angry. The doctor points out that TUNG is likely to suffer from mental disorder if there is anything to provoke her again. YAN is not sure if she should ride on Lucky Star in the race. YEE wants Lucky Star to withdraw and thus goes to beg YUEN. YUEN just cannot make up his mind……
