I went into this like I do with drinks (be it tea, or beer); I had a thirst and wanted it quenched. Murdoch owns the vast majority of newspapers (over 80%) in my country, but little is known about him and his family or how they run their business.
But this was like drinking a weak tea or beer - it partially quenched my thirst, but left me frustrated and wanting more.
At times the series was eye opening. I did not know that he had a Daughter (James and Lachlan have always been in the public eye here) or that he was challenged in court by Max Mosley.
