There is a tenth season ep ( The deserter)with guests Ben Johnson and Ellen Davalos. It was about an Army deserter with an Indian wife. I could not fully understand the plot. What exactly were the deserter, his wife, and Candy all trying to prove with the secretly operating gun shop on Ponderosa property ( the secret gun shop location I understand)?Does any man here think Ellen Davalos was kinda hot looking as the stoic Indian wife?
