Biography
Russian singer, rap artist, songwriter. He worked in the styles of rap, trip hop, reggae and soul. Then he entered the metallurgical college, where he studied for 4 months and went to the usual Vocational Technical School. While studying at the Vocational Technical School, he worked as an actor in the Donetsk theater named after Artyom. In 1987, Sergey Krutikov ended up in the author’s break-dance school for Sheff (Vlad Valov), who taught everyone for free. On the basis of the break dance school, a duet in the style of the electric boogie “Freezing Point” (Mikhey and Bocha) was created. SHEF, as a producer, put on a dance number, with which the guys began to take prizes at the All-Union break-dance festivals. In 1990, the first album Above the Law was recorded. In 1993, SHEF, Micah and DJ LA wrote an album at Gala Records. The band Bad Balance performs several times every week in the Moscow club "Jump" and gives away concerts in conjunction with Bogdan Titomir. In 1994, the long-awaited album Raiders Bad Balance was officially released. After the release of the Raiders album, the members of Bad Balance went to Germany, where they danced for money on Berlin's Kudamm Boulevard together with future world champions in break dance Flying Steps and illegally resided in a squat. Later, Bad Balance performed in famous Berlin clubs with a program from the album “Bad B. Raiders” together with world stars: Poor Righteous Teachers, Urban Species, 2 Unlimited and others. The band Bad Balance was noticed by the producer Tim Sellers from the company “Interkunst” and offered to accept Participation in the international tour of European cities “Stop the Violence”. From 1994 to 1995, Bad Balance went on tours four times and performed in more than 120 European cities with colleagues from Germany, France, and the Netherlands. Micah began to work alone on his own project, using the many years of experience made in Bad Balance. The name for the new group was coined by Kostas Hionidi, based on the film "Jumanji" with Robin Williams in the title role, but the spelling was different from the original - "Jumangee" instead of "Jumanji". Mikhea was joined by Monya from Bad Balance, who was involved in the production and organization of the group’s dances, and Mr. Bruce (Elbrus Cherkezov), bass player, and school friend Michea Alexander Ovrutsky became the concert director of the group. The debut album Bitch Love became very successful, the songs from it - “Bitch Love”, “There”, “Mom” - became hits, and Micah himself was recognized as the best performer of 1999. The group began to actively tour with album material [4]. On New Year's Eve on Channel One 2000, Mikhey performed "The Road to the Sea" together with Yuri Antonov. Mikhey rarely recorded new songs - and it was either joint work (“To the cottage” with TNMK, “On the Waves” with Via Chappa), or cover versions (“Trolleybus” by Tsoi, “Barykin's Fish”). The only song written and recorded by Micah alone was the hit “For You”. In 2002, Mikhey, together with Sergei Galanin, recorded a remake of his song “We Are Children of a Big City”. In July 2002, Micah suffered a stroke, from which he recovered in August. On the evening of October 27, 2002, the singer became ill, and by the time he arrived, he had already passed away. The cause of death is acute heart failure caused by a detached blood clot.
