Biography

Jay John Michael Hector was born in the King George Hospital in London, the middle child with one older brother and one younger sister, and spent his youth living in the English county of Essex, studying drama and art.

At just 16, Jay started working in the City of London for Goldman Sachs, where his tenacious work and innocent charm got him noticed by everyone. After 3 years of working with Goldman Sachs, he was headhunted by other global leading companies such as British Petroleum, JP Morgan Chase and the London Metal Exchange. Jay took the city by storm. If it had not been for his leading man looks and fast progression within the Entertainment industry, Jay would have gone on to trade for the most recognized names in banking... But his love for acting was calling him.

His acting career began when he was signed to a world-leading Talent group, ELITE Talent Management, who got him small roles on British TV & in commercials. Director Suki Singh saw Jay's potential and decided to offer him a few small parts in the films he was working on.

After comfortably starring in a number of productions it was clear Jay was of leading man status. He was offered meetings with multiple talent agencies in the US who couldn't wait to sign him. So Jay decided to give up business to show business and move to Los Angeles. He obtained his 01 Visa, achieved for his Extraordinary Acting Talent and is set for a busy career with multiple projects already in the pipeline.
