Rodrigo Corea is a fiction professional who conceives film, theater and writing as fundamental vehicles for deep communication, social transformation and full human development.

A graduate of the Casa del Teatro and with more than twenty years on stage and set, he has consolidated an important acting career in film and theater. He has participated in film productions in different countries that have earned him an Ariel nomination and a CANACINE award, among other recognitions.

He has also developed as a playwright and theater director, with several texts of his authorship that have been taken to the stage and screen.

He is a professor of acting, directing, dramaturgy among other subjects in different universities in and out of the country. With scholarships and support in the areas of playwriting, theater direction and film directing from FONCA and the Ministry of Culture of Puebla.

Rodrigo Corea es un profesional de la ficción que concibe el cine, el teatro, y la escritura como vehículos fundamentales para la comunicación profunda, la transformación social y el desarrollo pleno de lo humano.

Egresado de la Casa del Teatro y con más de veinte años en el escenario y el set, ha consolidado una importante carrera actoral en cine y en teatro. Participando en producciones cinematográficas de distintos países que le han valido una nominación al Ariel y un premio CANACINE entre otros reconocimientos.

También se ha desarrollado como dramaturgo y director de teatro, con varios textos de su autoría que han sido llevados al escenario y a la pantalla.

Catedrático de actuación, dirección, dramaturgia entre otras asignaturas en distintas universidades dentro y fuera del país. Con becas y apoyos en rubros de dramaturgia, dirección de teatro y dirección de cine por parte del FONCA y de la Secretaría de Cultura de Puebla.
