A long time ago, the little bugs ate up all the wild fruits on the ground. The little bee was very anxious, but the little earthworm didn't care. Then, a heavy rain washed the little earthworms out of the cave.

　很久以前，小虫子们把大地上的野果都吃光了，小蜂很着急，小蚯蚓却满不在乎。接着，一场大雨将小蚯蚓们冲出洞外，它们又冷又饿，就去找凌霄花要吃的，凌霄花不会结果。它们又去找杏花，杏花要求它们搬花粉才能结果。小蜂克服困难帮助杏花传粉，自己在劳动中得到锻炼，长成为一只可爱的小蜜蜂。小蚯蚓不爱劳动，脖子越来越长，变成一条蚯蚓。小萱花对它说：“只要你今后爱劳动，大家还是欢迎你的”。从此小蚯蚓就帮助植物松土，由于小蚯蚓和小蜜蜂的辛勤劳动，它们受到大家的欢迎，大地上又结出了累累果实。
