Realtor Eguchi has a strange encounter with a female ghost when he shows an old house to a client and later learns about a couple murdered by a robber there. Soon after this, he loses everything; his wife leaves him and ends up working at a building demolition company, where he becomes attracted to a colleague called Fujiko. However, the more he wants her, the more the female ghost that rocked the core of his peaceful life returns to haunt him.

부동산 중개인 에구치는 어느 날 고객에게 오래된 집을 보여주던 중 여자 귀신과 마주치는 기묘한 일을 겪는다. 오래 전 그 집에 살던 부부가 강도에게 살해당한 사실을 알게 되는 에구치. 그 일이 있은 후 에구치의 아내는 집을 나가고 에구치는 아내가 집을 나간 이유를 알 수 없어 괴로워한다. 아내의 가출 이후 모든 것을 잃은 에구치는 건물해체 전문 업체에서 일하게 되고 동료 직원 후지코에게 점점 빠져든다. 그러나 그녀를 원할수록 그의 평온한 삶을 뒤흔들었던 여자 귀신이 다시 그의 곁을 맴돌기 시작한다.
