I had never seen, nor even heard of, this odd vintage stop-motion short (5 mins., 32 secs.), prior to today. Check it out. (What faces!)

Hearts and Flowers is missing its original audio/soundtrack. Nonetheless, it "works", as presented here, as a tune-added silent film. The AI restoration and colourization provides the film with a surreal pop of new life.

So, let's see: First Dolly Daisy's mom seemingly is left dead (presumably with snapped neck and head trauma) in the window, then Dolly's two suitors separately commit hit and run - and neither of the three main characters seem to care anything about or much notice either mentioned event. Hmm.
