L’histoire du groupe de libération MOVE, victime notoire d’un attentat à la bombe de la police en 1985, s’entrelace avec la vie du réalisateur à l’époque où celui-ci était membre d’un collectif d’activistes afro-américains vivant sous le même toit dans l’ouest de Philadelphie. En s’articulant autour de ce qu’Asili a pu décrire comme une “reconstitution spéculative” de son expérience, les vies rejouées par des acteurs dans un appartement aux couleurs vives sont entrecoupées par des interventions de membres de MOVE et des lectures d’auteurs, poètes et artistes qui gravitaient autour de ces luttes de libération. |
