Overview |
The concept of machine-made knit was known as early as the 1850s, but it was only during the 1920s that the quality of the material had improved. When the plant known as "Atlas" was introduced in 1931, the shop windows drew a lot of attention, and Aho & Soldan was ordered to make a promotional film. Korte documentaire: Het concept van machinaal vervaardigd breisel was al in de jaren vijftig van de negentiende eeuw bekend, maar pas in de jaren twintig was de kwaliteit van het materiaal verbeterd. Toen in 1931 de plant 'Atlas' werd geïntroduceerd, trokken de etalages veel aandacht en kreeg Aho & Soldan de opdracht een promotiefilm te maken. In deze goed geacteerde film zien we de jerseyproductie stap voor stap. |
