"GEMINI - THE TWIN STARS" is a story of star-crossed friendship, growing from one young man's flight from danger and another's quest for adventure. This lush and romantic thriller moves from New York to Geneva, and from remote Swiss mountain villages to the jet-set night life of Mykonos.

Matthew McLaren leeft een onbezorgd bestaan als student in New York. Zijn vriend, die drugsdealer is, wordt echter onverwacht doodgeschoten door de narcoticabrigade. Matthew raakt hier bij betrokken, waardoor plotseling zijn hele leven verandert in dat van een angstige vluchteling. Wanhopig probeert hij te ontsnappen en komt zo terecht in Zwiterland. Veilig is hij daar niet, want er wordt al snel een internationale klopjacht georganiseerd. Matthew stort zich intussen in een verhouding met de aristocratische Maria Helena Buffington. Hij raakt bevriend met Thomas Fassler, een jonge Zwitserse boer die tegen hem opkijkt als een stoere wereldse avonturier.
