Aitziber’s father travels to the city daily in order to prevent his childhood home from demolition. This apparently senseless action will end up becoming a way to vindicate his own memory.

Itziar is eight years old and lives in two very different worlds. On the one hand, the world of her disappointed Basque nationalist parents and, on the other, the religious school, which gives the girl a repressive and retrograde education. However, there is another kind of world, much nicer to Itziar, formed by the street and her friends.

Falling in love with your best friend is not easy. Avoiding the subject and feeding the fantasy is something which will take its toll. Knowing you are crossing a red line is not always a reason to stop. Sometimes, it's necessary to meet a harsh reality in order to believe it.
