Replace 'temporarily' with 'permanently, and she is never seen or mentioned again' and I think you would be closer to the mark.

Damn I'm going to miss Nelle. Back in the 80's/90's pre-Sonny a good actress like CL would be incorporated into another s/l. But since she's an Enemy Of Sonny of course she must be banished from Port Charles. Sonny/MB blocks GH from being a great soap because Sonny Must Always Win. UGH

There's so many directions they can go with Nelle.

Keep in mind, there's Ava who would actually cheer Nelle for what she did to Sonny & Carly. She's already friends with Michael's ex, Kiki who Carly already hates for basically no reason.

What would really be nuts if they did a storyline where Nelle's life depended on her getting her kidney back from Josslyn or die!

I'm sure a whole thread could be devoted to all the directions they could go with the character from here than probably the lame one the GH writers will take her.

There's also that forgotten fact that it was Nelle who caught Ava in Morgan's room switching his meds. Nelle just hasn't figured it out yet. If she does... that could be her ticket back in Carly & Sonny's good graces.

haha funny how some fans think she's the past now ... when she's actually the future of this soap.

I don't think Nelle is being written out because we would have read somewhere that the actress is leaving,. Also, I still see the writers pairing her with Michael. Her entire revenge plot was based on a lie her father had told her, so she can still be regarded as a victim herself. I see Michael forgiving her, and Carly having to come to terms with the fact that Nelle may end up being her daughter-in-law someday.

But, Lucy also caught Ava throwing away the prescription bottle with the placebo. If Lucy is the one who ends up exposing what Ava did before Nelle figures out what she saw, Nelle would lose that trump card.

Still I hate to see Nelle go, I hope there's some way she can get back with Michael. I would LOVE to see Carly forced to watch that happen

No, I just assume that Altman and Passante have little imagination. It is clear that to them, the sole purpose of Nelle was to glorify Sonny, and now that Sonny has been glorified, she needs to go. This is the way these no talent hacks think.

Yeah but Nelle could also stumble upon the information by overhearing Lucy & Ava talking about it then put 2 & 2 together that's what Ava was doing in Morgan's room that day.

Not that Nelle would care about winning Carly & Sonny's trust back ... but she would care about winning Michael's.

With the Nurse's Ball coming up, they may possibly be using Lucy a little more anyway to keep the actress from complaining so much. lol
