This is originally an UK ITV series. So, the dates that should be listed are the dates of the ITV dates that aren't yet known.

I have removed the wrong Portuguese dates added by another user.

So why do seasons 1-3 have NPO (NL) set as a primary network, and the origin country is the Netherlands? I mean, shouldn't we wait for NPO airdates instead?

Because up until today, it was listed as a UK TV show on the database. The series actually premiered on Jan. 1, 2020 on NPO 1 in the Netherlands (one of the producing countries) and then on April 26, 2020 on ITV1. Four years ago, a user incorrectly changed the air date for the first episode, no one fixed it, and NPO 1 was removed from the Networks list.

Yes.

Hmm, but the United States is also one of the producing countries, and Masterpiece (US) is one of the production companies. They already have announced the premiere date for season 4. Of course, they are airing it in a weird fashion, splitting each episode into two parts, but nonetheless...

And? The show's origin country is Netherlands and the network is NPO 1; they haven't announced any season 4 air dates.

Just for future reference, what makes it that way? The show is produced in NL, but by a British production company, commissioned by another British company, co-producing with companies from NL, DE and US (at least they all are credited as equal co-producers). In season 4 they specifically added "for ITV" to the credits, I don't remember it being directly mentioned on-screen before. So why NL, because they aired it first? It can't be simply because it was filmed there, a lot of US shows are not filmed in the US, but that doesn't make them South African or New Zealandian for example.

Because NL is the first of the production countries were this series has been broadcasted.

By the way, sorry for my mistake above, I didn't double-check the data of the previous seasons.

So, is it locked by the premiere of the first season? I mean, if other seasons broadcasted first in another production company, you still keep the one from the first season as the primary? Of course, as long as this network keeps broadcasting the show.

No problem, I also didn't notice that it was changed to NPO just today.

Yes.

Someone added PBS airdates back, so they probably need to be removed and locked.

Now someone totally messed up season 4 by splitting each episode into 2 parts (the way PBS airs it), in complete disregard of the already added cast and crew from the proper 90-minute-long episodes. As an icing on the cake, PBS is added as a network.

This is so typical. Random stuff gets locked out of the blue all the time when nobody asks, for no reason. But when it is required and makes total sense, no one cares.
