Discuss Kaguya-sama: Love Is War

Item: Kaguya-sama: Love Is War

Language: en-US

Type of Problem: Incorrect_content

Extra Details: I'd like to report that these episodes are listed as they aired and were released on blu-ray, which is incorrect according to the segments section of the contribution bible ( https://www.themoviedb.org/bible/tv/59f743289251416e71000037#5b71c6b4c3a3684161000001 ). Since they have their own titles (see the "Segment / Segment / Segment" naming scheme) and title splashes, they should be split up into their segments. While every release to date has listed them the way they are currently, it is conceivable they could be grouped differently someday.

I've been instructed here in this thread (https://www.themoviedb.org/tv/205308-tomo-chan-is-a-girl/discuss/63b6d0903344c600c97e3763?page=4) to come report this so that this rule about segments can be applied uniformly to more shows across the site.

All three seasons have this issue, but for an example see S1E1: " I Will Make You Invite Me to a Movie / Kaguya Wants to Be Stopped / Kaguya Wants It" - this should be three episodes according to the guidelines in the bible

Kaguya-sama seems to not fit the TMDB rule for segment separation.

On the oficial website there is a single desciption for the entire episode, not the segments: https://kaguya.love/1st/story/01.html

As you saw in the Tomo-chan thread though, that apparently doesn't matter. That also listed only a single description per episode. If the splitting applies there it should apply here, and if it doesn't apply here then it shouldn't apply there. Some consistency is needed here, whatever that is.

Just hoping to get some clarification on when this rule should apply, because the other thread made it seem like it should here too (as crazy as that is)

Yes, indeed, it seems there is a difference in the content of the description. If it aplies to all segments, it is ok to keep it together, if not (if it is only for one), it should be split. But it is hard to figure that out without watching them.

But yeah, in my opinion if it is listed as 1 episode on the oficial website it sould be only one. Spliting should be only when there is a clear description for each segment, like Urusei Yatsura for example.

It would be nice to get a definitive confirmation using those cases as examples. Let's see what they say.
