Discuss Picnic at Hanging Rock

I have struggled watching this and now there is only one episode to go. I find it very slow and drawn out - too many characters - not enough fleshing out of any of them which makes them hard to remember. I think this is going to have a stupid open ending. A story that could have been told in three episodes. I am only watching it because my daughter wants to know what happens in the end !! That's mother love for you !!!

I had the same feeling, of being overwhelmed with vague, supernatural nonsense, but I watched all the way to the end and kind of regret it. For all that buildup, all we're left with are tragic suicides?

And for what reason? It seems to be one of those stories where the writer has an idea that sounds great - only problem is they can't write a plausible ending so they just call it open to interpretation and leave you - well - hanging !!! Sorry !!

Seems reasonable !!
