Absolutely heartbreaking, when she saw her dad. I know what it's like to have family members in hospice, and to know their days are definitely numbered (past tense, in my cases), and wondering how much longer there may be to share together. I'm sure Ariadna was utterly shattered to see her dad and to be reminded she's not with him. It was devastating to see (definitely shed tears right along with her - brought back a lot) - and I'd have reacted the exact same way she did. God bless her.

Oh, I didn't know he was in hospice. I just thought he was in a hospital. If I were in her shoes, I don't think I could be on a show.

I don't know as a confirmed fact that Ariadna's dad is in hospice. But based on how he looks, and my multiple up-close-and-personal experiences of mother (mid 2012 [she lived with me and I personally handled her hospice]), then (mid 2016) two siblings (died six weeks apart [sister was diagnosed with terminal cancer - same thing my brother died from - just two days after my brother's funeral]) in hospice, that's totally the state Ariadna's father looks to be in, to my eyes. Plus judging from Ariadna's clearly genuine profound emotional reaction. I noticed that she managed to mutter, at one point, during her sobs, something like, "He was able to talk." Dying people do often lose that ability, but sometimes manage to regain it temporarily now and then.

I went on Ari's IG, and her dad has been in the hospital since October, which is a long time for hospice. Here are some pics.
Sorry to hear that about your family, Gen. That's a lot to deal with with just one family member. My mom had to bury her brother one month and her sister the next month. It's just so sad.

Sometimes hospice can last up to 3-5 or so months, depending on combination of factors, including the person's age, how much "fight" (self-determination to stretch their time longer, or to live for their loved ones - perhaps try to live long enough to be able to see an expected newborn grandchild, or to make it beyond a holiday or a child's/grandchild's wedding, etc.) they may have in them, and at what rate something inoperable or fatal takes completely over.
If Ariadna's father's been ill since October, that's about four months. Her own age is 24, and presumably her dad is somewhere in the middle age range (despite that he looks elderly, old enough to be her grandfather, though that easily could be due to whatever he's so sick or dying from). Four months is an extremely long time to be in the hospital if not dying. Considering how gaunt, ashen, and like a feeble old man Ariadna's dad now looks - and to have been hospitalized since October - he's clearly in direly ill health. I noticed, too, that he's on oxygen.
Ariadna had a normal happy reaction when she saw the clip of I suppose it was her brother, his wife, and their two kids. But when the clip of her dad came on, she immediately completely fell apart and lost it.
Those are sweet Instagram pix of Ariadna with her dad. The most recent shot looks to probably be from Christmas (judging from the holiday pajamas), so nearing two months ago. On Celebrity BB, her dad looked, in the video clip, to be in much worse condition than on either of those two pictures. I'm guessing he more than likely has cancer. Until she stated that he was her dad, I had assumed he must be her grandfather, due to him now looking like an old man. On the Instagram pix, he still looked probably somewhere in the 50 sort of age range.

Good point.
Yeah, he has aged, which isn't a good sign. This show will be over in a week or so, so she can go home and be with him.
