Extra Details: Is it okay that the episodic image backdrops have also been added to the backdrops on the series level? (eg. is it okay to upload this image (after cropping, obviously) here even though this is an image used for an episode on that series' page on its official network's website?)

Stills are fine as long as they make good series backdrops. There are a good alternative when there are no promo images.
