Another ruse to back out of the dance battle. If her foot hurt that much, she would have kept it on. She seemed to have a miraculous recovery after having seen Jiya to postpone it. She is then seen running thither and yon in previews for next episode with no boot, no limping and she runs pretty fast. I am confused by the 2nd half, regarding Babs...Did she have a stroke or car accident? Or both? Anyone else aggravated by Buddy's heavy breathing? Is he ever truly awake?

I agree the boot seems suspect. I like Whitney, but that seemed a little iffy. I'm guessing you're one week behind? I watched the final episode last night and they explained Babs had a hemorrhagic stroke causing bleeding in the brain. She seems mostly okay....but impaired movement in one hand...
(And yeah it seems like Buddy is about to explode)
Edit: Duh, you're not one week behind...I'm one week behind in responding to your post! :P

Hi!!:) I just saw last night's episode this morning. (I like to fast forward the commercials, LOL). Her boot is on when it's convenient to her situation, I guess. So sad to see Babs laid up like that:( Hope she makes a full recovery. I love her and Glenn. Regarding Todd....Is it me, or is he being catty? And is being a dance girl in a YouTube person's videos, really a big opportunity? I also got to thinking about the radio show...I wonder if it was just really done for this show and simply to promote their station--all of a sudden, they are all out jobs/contract is up? I did enjoy watching them all interact. I didn't bother watching the second half of how it all began. Do you think there will be another season?

Sorry for my delayed response. I hope there's another season, because I like watching this odd show. Yeah the boot....I think she does want to back out of the competition. I think she revealed a truth saying she feels she let the whole group down by making them lose (okay, not making them lose...but by not getting them to win).
The radio show. I always felt like her being on that show as to promote the station/show. But I hadn't thought that the entire radio show was fabricated just for her, haha. She did seem disappointed/surprised that they weren't giving her a job. So maybe it was sort of real...like, a real program, but her being on it was really only for the show. And she had read more into it. They seemed really abrupt with her. That was awkward. The main DJ guy looked kinda sad.
The whole fitness marshall thing. I thought that was weird too...her saying this tour with him is the biggest opportunity she's had. I'm like, bigger than getting your entire own show on TLC? What lol? And I TOTALLY think he only wants Whitney in his videos and shows because he knows she's on TV and he wants to be on TV, too. Like, DUH right? Is that not obvious?! Or they just introduced him for drama?
And, Todd. Yeah. Catty. I thought a lot about his reaction and was really trying to think of it from both sides. To me it seemed he had a mini-crush on the Fitness Marshall, so was definitely jealous that the marshall fixated on Whitney and not him. And I'm sure he already was feeling insecure/embarrassed after having to leave and throw up. So he was definitely lashing out as a result of all that. But at some level, I can understand him being jealous/upset. If there was some actor that I really loved, and I got the chance to meet him, and then the actor guy was totally ignoring me but all into my sister (who didn't even care about him herself) and then suddenly they're bffs and she agrees to do stuff with him without me...I would feel hurt and mad. You know...like...I think maybe Whitney should have thought it through and read between the lines and known it would hurt him and thus decline. I guess, I understand his jealousy, even if it seems immature. And he does help Whitney a lot.... To me it was not so much that the last day of theirs was "ruined" as he was claiming, but more that he was jealous since he was the one who liked the Fitness Marshal initially and then she just kinda swept that out from under him by agreeing to team up with the marshal, leaving Todd behind in the dust. Todd probably just didn't want to outright admit this. But I do actually understand this.
...BUT. I was NOT okay with him instantly making fun of her weight, not being able to dance, etc, any of that at all. Pouting and being jealous is one thing. But he just got immediately nasty and was hitting her below the belt all over the place. It's like, we get it, you're feeling insecure/jealous/abandoned, but to just instantly start bashing her weight and inability to dance and all...that was totally unacceptable in my opinion. It makes me doubt what kind of a friend he really is. I would have been super hurt if I were her. I'd be thinking, wow, damn, is that what he really thinks of me all this time? Like he's just pretending to support her dancing and body positivity. For one thing to come up and suddenly all this nasty spite and resentment lashes out, I'd have to question my friendship. It's just flat out WRONG to lash out at someone below the belt like that, especially where they know it hurts the most. There's never an excuse for that in my opinion. I'm sure we've all been guilty of it, but he was relentless. I noticed Whitney didn't even call him out on that to her friends. She was too forgiving I think. Damn :/. I feel like his true colors came out.
