I recently finished the first season of the Santa Clarita Diet, and I have to say that I loved it. Overall, it was pretty hysterical. I loved the characters and story line. The show has quickly become one of my favorite Netflix originals. I hope we are getting a season 2.

I loved it, too! Didn't think I was going to, at first, but by episode 3, I was loving it.. I can see how it definitely won't be for everyone, and I'm genuinely not a big horror/comedy fan(usually just horror/thriller movies&series), but the Timothy/Drew combo made it work in a cute, quirky way, that I ended up loving!
My only complaint was the way the season ended..though, I'm hoping there's a good reason behind why they chose to end it that way...as in a really good Season 2, to look forward to!

I really liked it, but the final scene was kind of odd with an abrupt ending.

I honestly didn't expect this to be so entertaining, I starter watching out of better options and ended watching the whole season straight (while seriously laughing out loud).

Yeah, "the Timothy/Drew combo made it work ". I agree. I don't think I've seen Timothy Olyphant in a comedy before. I was wondering how that was going to work. But he is pretty good at comedy, and he and Drew work together very well. I like the way he puts that positive spin mixed with irony on awful situations. They are realtors in the show, and realtors try to be positive when showing properties they want to sell. Plus he wants to be supportive of his wife, and make his marriage work despite the unusual change in his wife's food preferences. lol
