Are they going to cancel this series and is this their way of ending it? It seems odd that they are doing that and not airing the series in the regular rotation schedule for ten weeks. I know SyFy is changing and maybe this is one those series they are planning to get rid of and replace in their new format.

It has already been renewed for a 4th and final season. I'm not sure why they went this route with airing season 3, but I don't mind it.

Yeessssss!!! I really didn't like last season and was considering giving up on it, but the fact season 3 was not only really good but they released all 10 episodes over a weekend, I felt, was a brilliant move. I much prefer to binge a show like this and hope they do it again for season 4.

I liked season 3 more than the first two seasons. Hopefully season 4 will be just as good!

ITA with every word you said!
I was very much hesitant to watch season 3 because seasons 1 and 2 I thought were dragged out and too much going in circles without really answering anything, but I'm so glad I did. The writers really stepped their game up.
I loved Jennifer too and all her costume changes. Loved Cole and Cassie's son- both the child and adult versions.
Great show! I wish more networks would just go ahead and put up all episodes at once On Demand- I love binge watching.

I binged watched it over the last few days. It was great!
I liked seasons Seasons 1 & 2 but it really started getting convoluted and confusing in Season 2. I think they redeemed themselves this season and answered a lot of open questions.
I love Jennifer. I loved her last Season and loved her this Season. The way she's always referencing our generations movies is gold! Best character on the show in my opinion. Did she write that note at the very end? I think she did from memory. In which case wow!!
Seeing Gaius Baltar (BSG) play the witness was a nice surprise as well. Loved that!
Bring on Season 4!

Hate to say it, but this season has been by far the best one. Maybe its because I'm binge watching or be a use the writing has been so much better than the first two seasons. I am able to better follow what's going on unlike the first two seasons that felt disjointed.
My favorite characters have to be Jennifer and Deacon. Jennifers little quirks and antics...her outfits and movie refreences are absolutely hilarious. I love Deacons funny quips and movie references as well that he shares with jennifer.
Sad that next season will be the last, but it's inevitable that it would have to end eventually. I'm just glad it's getting a proper send off instead of just ending like all of syfy shows as of late.
